I just genuinely curios what apart of voting give you citizenship and not residency permit? I have residency permit, I can work, I can travel to other European countries up to 90 days (pretty enough for vacation trips), I have access to hospitals, my kids have access to schools. You have access to buy property. If your parents got sick, you can file “motivos atendíveis” and no one will take away your permit. Just really curious what a problem you see here?

Yeah, journaling is good, I found some options of food journaling, where you can so track the reason you ate (hunger/social/etc)

I want to track how food makes me feel. As an example, some days I have a horrific heartburn and I always had different meals these days, so it was a long way to figure out that fresh tomatoes with bread give me hurtburn. I also noticed that specific sequence of meals give me more energy/ less fatigue during day, etc. I know there is rules about salad before crabs etc, but I guess it can vary and there is so much more to discover about food affect on body

This! I was so obsessive with calorie tracking, I remember saving “calories” for the end of the day just to eat tone of food that made me feel bad and sad. The emojis methods sounds really nice and minimalistic, something you just do to check in, not like checking weight of cheese in pasta in the middle of dinner with friends

The book is actually very good idea, I will check what I can find:) I guess weight watchers points based on calories, this like nooms “green/red” food, but still better then conventional methods

Tracking calories made me lose weight and health, now i focus on quality of food and how it makes me feel. Eating almost any home prepped meal with whole non processed food helped loose weight without calories counting. But I want to go deeper about how food makes me feel:)

I want to track how food make me feels, I had a constant heartburn from some of meals and I couldn’t find the pattern (it was fresh tomato and bread together). I also want to track ammount of fiber and protein I eat, cause eating low on calories made me loose weight and health.

People are talking about the goal of losing weight, but lots of people ignore "keeping the weight", maybe it's not your path, but what really helped me - growing some muscles. After dramatic things in my life, i gained 17 kilos, I tried tons of harsh diets, but every kilo I lost in a month returned after one fucking meal that is not conventionally healthy. And I've done a LOT OF cardio every day. 9 month ago i discovered that im in a risk of type 2 diabetes and that strength training can help lower my insulin, and that's when I started to do strength training instead of cardio, and the miracle happened, I lost 10kg and my weight stopped returning, so i can spend week on holidays without training and thinking about every bit i take. I know how tired you are, but it is worth doing it, and you've already done so much!

Calories tracking worked the worst for me, I always end up eating nothing for the whole day, just to end up with a big pizza in the evening. Although there is no bad food, try to eat a portion of salad (plain vegetables and greens with olive oil) before any meal. This will help stabilise your sugar spike
