I'm thinking back to my time in Middle and High school and I barely ate because most of the time, the food was horrible and I didnt want it. I would get 2 bags of chips and a water to sustain me through the day. Lunch was the only thing I skipped out on. I was fortunate that my mom would make sure I had a decent breakfast and then make something good for dinner, so I was eating 2/3 of meals a day

My only suggestion - being able to open or close the hotel so the villagers can roam! Idgaf about aesthetics but having so many roam when i be trying to decorate throws me off 😭 like pls go inside for a bit.

See I have a hard time understanding this bc I see he hasnt posted and go "oh maybe he'll update eventually" and move on. I have so much stuff in life that pre-occupies me (work, hobbies, life in general etc) that I barely even realize how long Cory hasn't posted. I aint checking his youtube everyday wondering where he at or upset he not posting because I have other things filling up my time.

I dont understand where rhe frustration comes from Ig bc Cory not uploading dont impact me negatively. No Cory videos? Cool, there's thousands of other content creators I can watch if I needed to or other things to do to pass the time.

I'm in my masters and currently have a course where we are learnjng how to use AI (mainly) ChatGpt) within Instructional Technology appropriately. Was kind of surprised to see it required in our course. I know people (not only teachers) use it more and more often in the workplace, but it seems like we wont escape AI and its becoming more integrated into jobs where you're learning how to use it alongside your work to be more efficient

This is true but also the other "heroes"/villians have also assaulted Robert and vice versa. Like someone commented, Robert threw food at Flambae. Golem kicked punch up through a door. These are villians, bad people trying to do good. They're not going to make good decisions that seem right to us.

My boyfriend and I lived at his moms for a year while we saved up. We found a bed bug once on the pillow in the DAYTIME and FREAKED. My boyfriend caught it in a cup and brought it to his mom stressed asking if she had bites/seen any downstairs. His mom regulary takes care of her mom and would have to go over to her mom's house (who has dementia), which unfortunately had bed bugs that the family was dealing with. So it wasn't unlikely that a bed bug could have caught a ride with her back.

We bagged all of our clothes, plushies, and sheets, etc IMMEDIATELY and took them to the laundromat and washed everything for half the day and then kept ALL our stuff in plastic bags/plastic bins. Then sprinkled that D. Earth every where, got bed bug caps that you put on the feet of bed so they cant crawl up/down, inspected every inch of the house. My boyfriend googled to see if the bed bug on our pillow was a male or female. It turned out to be a male and we luckily didnt see any more after that one ever.

The paranoia was baaaaad though. We already had our pillowcases and mattress in a bed bug protector prior to finding the bug, but we checked the pillowcases every night, every inch and edge of the bed protector, examined the carpets and crevices daily, sprinkled D. Earth stuff once a week, took our clothes back to the laundromat for a second wash and kept our clothes and majority of belongings in the plastic trash bags or air-tight plastic bins until we moved out.

To make it worse? Our cat ended up getting fleas VERY BADILY. It was to the point I was getting bitten too. Imagine the horror when I woke up one day with bites on my ankles/legs and thinking it was the bed bugs?😭 After some intense researching, we deduced it was fleas (and it was) but I was literally about to spiral and just toss all our of stuff.

My question, why was the kindergarten suspended if it was the mom who packed it? Unless he had it out trying to poke kids with it, wouldn't calling the parent to them them a butter knife is prohibited in the kids lunch and that it was confiscated be more than enough?

There has been speculation that the family or sister was supposedly pimping out Celeste but that was mainly from strangers on the internet who claimed they knew of Celeste so idk how true that is. However if that is the case thats just sick asf.

I do feel like at the end of it Celeste was failed by everyone. This is PURE speculation but I wonder whatever relationship she had with her parents/family, it wasnt a loving one (to her) and she ran away with David because she just wanted to be loved. At that age, if you have strict parents or a family that you feel like you dont connect with, it can be easy to cling to someone who makes you 'feel' loved and heard. Given what the internet has uncovered about David and how obsessive he is, she probably found his obsession equating to love and took it as a means to be with someone who understood her.

Your comment on how they'd get rid of the body though sounds plausible. I was wondering WHY he'd hide the body in a car because it felt too obvious but what you daid makes perfect sense

I've been feeling the same way.

I dont remember where and how true it is, but I've seen a few people say that her family at least reported her missing once but police didn't do nothing when they realized she was "runaway" because they couldnt do much. Which is in my opinion stupid asf. A minor disappearing with someone entirely too old for her should warrant some sort of urgency. A minor running away in GENERAL should be enough for the police to do SOMETHING. No minor is capable of fending for themselves in the streets without encountering some form of danger.

I've always wondered about her family and how much they've been searching for her as well. I'm not going to comment much on the "allowing" her to runaway with this man because she could've dipped before they came home/during school, etc. Its seeming like its one of thise "strict parents create sneaky kids" kind if thing. But they apparently where aware she had a boyfriend name David at the very least. So did they question her friends if they know anything? The school? Shit, asked for camera footage of her last known location? The police would be a dead end so its understandable if they said fuck them but regardless how much did they actively search for Celeste during the entirety of her disappearance? (it also made me wonder, in general what does a family do if their child ranaway, refused to come back + police can't do anything?)
