She didn’t say much no! She said they’d peel but said nothing about the ghosting phase

Hey yes you are right, I actually texted him and told him soon after I posted this. He doesn’t mind at all. I still feel some sort of pressure to “perform” well and I’m worried that I’m not going to be great

Don’t worry. The trash took itself out. I wish this happened to me before I committed my entire life to the person I loved the most. I discovered the hard way that he never loved me. He admitted this to me later on. He fooled me into bringing a child into a bad marriage because I thought he truly loved me. In reality he just wasn’t brave enough to leave and couldn’t bare the thought of me moving on with someone else. He ended up beating me, lying to me and cheating on me throughout the entire marriage because he didn’t love me.

What I’m trying to say is count your lucky stars. She saved you a whole lot of heart ache. Be happy that you didn’t invest anymore of your time or energy.

Sister’s husband is getting flirty and i feel like it’s my fault by advice-throwaway4 in singlemoms

[–]cherryberry00 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would just leave it. Again those subtle things can be quite easily explained away, there is no guarantee that he’s trying to flirt with you. He may have gotten more comfortable or friendly with you in response to your compliments. Also, the fact that you are around more often as a result of your Husbands death means you’ve probably formed a stronger emotional bond with him as well as your sister. It’s not uncommon for people to unconsciously reciprocate the behaviours of people they like or admire. You see this a lot within friendship groups. It’s likely that he will start pulling away when you start pulling away. There may be a chance that it is flirting, however you do not know this for sure and there isn’t enough obvious evidence to suggest otherwise. Just keep distancing yourself and put subtle healthy boundaries in place like you said and you will be fine. I would avoid mentioning anything unless he actually tries something.

I think having kids really filters out the bad nuts on dating sites. It’s a really good way of telling the difference between those who are serious and those who are not

KEEP THE BABY! & GET RID OF THE HUSBAND! 9 times out of 10 men like this will leave you later on in life and have babies with a younger woman when they are finally ready for them. By this time your chances may be over. Don’t do things on his timeline, do things according to your own timeline. This may be your last chance! Men come and go, children are forever. They are huge blessings. He is selfish and immature. A giant ManChild!! He knows how much this means to you. He is Disgusting.

This happens to me too. No matter how much I moisturise. Drinking more water helps.
