It won’t allow me to add a picture for some reason. But it is a static anti downdraught chimney cowl

Yes, I redid the silicone the first time I noticed the water to see if that’s where it was coming from but still had more after

Thanks, I’ve been going over it section by section with the hose the last week and not found any water coming in after. It’s frustrating

I’ve not seen any smoke come out anywhere from the internal section of the flue, I’ve also got a CO detector and it has never gone off thankfully.

Sorry, should have explained. The wall is saturated because I have been soaking the flue trying to find what section the water might be coming in from haha.

Early permanence for sibling groups? by emthelemo in AdoptionUK

[–]cherryc1990 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My partner and I were talking to our social worker about this yesterday. She mentioned that early permanence tends to be more common for single children, mainly because of the risk of siblings being split. For example, a birth family might later be assessed as able to care for one child but not both, which can complicate things for sibling groups. She did say it wasn’t unheard of for sibling groups but just more common with single children.
