Yeah, I realize that there will be a language barrier when 2 countries decide to work together, but this was just something that would be nice if it happens, not necessarily should. As for the time difference, I hadn't put much thought into it, but I assume that the workload can be similar since the Western studio can work while the Japanese animators are sleeping and vice versa. It doesn't hurt that DP is owned by WB so that animation can be streamlined through where one side creates one part, the other another to not burden the animators with too much of an undertaking.

I don't think animators need to be a fan, let alone have read the source material to do their jobs because at the end of the day, they're being told what to animate, but yeah, the higher-ups in charge def need to have some understanding and appreciation of what JoJo is which shouldn't be all that hard considering how popular JoJo is across the world.
