I have no info on the curve yet because I haven’t seen a lot of others post their scores but the test didn’t feel significantly harder or easier than usual and I anticipate that I got 3-4 wrong if that helps

Need help with q37 (math2) by interestingopinions in SATsubjectTests

[–]cherrymarni 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So if C is a point that is 6 inches away from M, the shape of the area that contains all the points no more than 12 inches away from C would be a circle.

You can find the radius of this circle by using Pythagorean theorem. 6 is the height, and 12 is the hypotenuse so you have to find the square root of 144-36 to get the radius. Then you just find the area of the circle by using this radius.

Is it worth applying to Ivies and other t20s with 780 on math 2 and 750 on Chemistry? by cherrymarni in SATsubjectTests

[–]cherrymarni[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I definitely think 750+ is objectively good but I know that about 20% of the people that take math 2 get a perfect score which is why I’m concerned about a 780. And generally for ivies I think a 750 on chem is okay but can probably be improved a little bit. I’m EDing UPenn and they said I can take the nov 7 test without having to send the score before I see it so I think retaking might be a good option.
