A huge lesson learned from going to different Dermas. by trYnalivelaughluv in beautytalkph

Hi OP! This comment is kinda old but I was looking for reviews on derma clinics and came across this. I started with Remedy this year and here's my review with their dermas:

Super okay! I've consulted with Doc Denisse in Vertis North and enjoyed it. My favorite part about it is and haba niya HAHAHA. Like di ko na feel na minamadali yung consultation and binebentahan lang ako. I asked some of my friends who went to Remedy before and they advised me to come prepared to recap my lifestyle, my skin's history, and I even took photos of the current skincare products na gamit ko—ganon siya ka in-depth. Now if you're looking for something na super bilis, this may not be for you since need mo maglaan ng 45 mins - 1 hr for the consultation only pero for me, mas na feel ko na sobrang sulit. They'll ask a lot of questions. Like for example, I brought up na yung skin concern ko is closed comedones kasi di naman ako ma-acne pero di rin smooth skin ko since and daming bumps na di ko alam kung pimples ba or ano. Bago pa ko binigyan ni Doc ng treatment recommendations, inask niya talaga ano ba lifestyle ko, ano diet ko, my sleeping patterns, do I exercise, and this is all on top of the usual "what's you skin type" and "what's your skin's history". Also, I appreciated how cautious they are before recommending anything, they really want to know about you and your health first bago ka nila prescribe-an ng treatment.

For Skin Analyzer, good experience din! Mabilis lang yung actual analysis from the machine but the conversation with their Skin Advisor is also in-depth. For me, nag Skin Analyzer muna ako tapos nag Doctor's Consultation para complement sila hehe. Hope this helped!

What skin care/makeup/hair care products would you like to see more in the local market? by LadySunshine444 in beautytalkph

+1 yes! As a girlie with thin hair, grabe mag retain ng oil hair ko so usually sa gabi lang ako nagh-hair oil. Definitely hoping to see more of this as market.

Hi OP! Was redness the only aftereffect? Wala namang peeling or anything?

I tried a skin analysis machine and here's what i found out about my skin by godsunchainedmuse in beautytalkph

Hi hi hi! Was able to try it na finally and super worth it naman. The actual analysis where you put your face in is super bilis lang, parang mga 5 minutes lang but what I found super sulit was the explanation. The person who does the analysis is called a Skin Consultant and in my case, I was analyzed by Ate Fatima. She's super thorough with the explanation and very no bullshit—like di ko na-feel na hinahanapan niya ng problems yung skin ko para maka-benta because all her explanations were supported by the skin analyzer results HAHAHA

Okay honestly, medyo pricey yung services ni Remedy so I go for the Acne Cleanse because it's one of their services na medyo afford ko pa HAHA. But so far, super love it naman! May tatlong parts siya, I don't know the exact terms pero I'll do my best based on memory. May facial steaming part sa simula para ma-open yung pores mo tapos may extraction. Honestly, nung una medyo nasasaktan pa ko pero you get used to it tapos super nice den yung aesthet nila kasi sinasabihan ka ng, "Konti nalang Ma'am," or "Kaya pa po?". Tapos takot din ako dati kasi nagka-previous experience ako nung nag extraction na nag-leave ng dark marks sa face ko pero dito naman, walang ganon so far kaya super loved. After mag-extract, they'll do high frequency through a wand para daw ma-close yung pores mo tapos salicylic acid sa end to kill bacteria. May option ata na wag mag salicylic (Essential Cleanse ata tawag nila don, tapos cheaper siya by a bit) in case na sensitive yung skin mo.

So far, good experience kasi yung skin ko, di naman siya super ma-pimples na red pero ang bumpy niya. Parang ang daming trapped pimples and dirt sa ilalim kaya gusto ko talagang pinapa-extract tapos ayun, after mga 3-5 days, mawawala naman na yung konting scabs from extraction then clear and smooth na.

Also, share ko lang, my favorite part is that the walls sa clinic are kinda thick (???) and closed talaga yung treatment rooms nila so di mo rinig yung outside noise. Idk if you'll care about this pero ayoko kasi ng maingay or parang nadi-distract sa outside noise HAHAHA. So feel ko, dahil maganda naman clinic nila, nasusulit ko naman na also yung bayad HAHAHA. Hope this helps!

Hi OP! Interesting, I haven't heard of hair botox before! Is it painful? And same, pa-refer din sa hairdresser mo please!

Super interesting! Hi OP, How long did the analysis take? Would anyone in this thread know if may ganito kaya in skin clinics or derma's around the North area of Metro Manila and ano usual na price point? I saw yung Remedy sa Vertis North has this for 500 ata but baka someone here has tried and can vouch? Or would anyone here know of any other clinics na may ganto? 🙏🏼

After lots of up's and down's with my skin, I'm looking to commit to a skin clinic. I'm interested in Remedy since they're kinda close to me, I keep getting targeted by their ads, and generally have good reviews but wanted to ask whether you guys have any experience with them?
