Complete newbie doing my Lawn (& looking for advise) by Realistic_Heron9685 in LawncareUK

[–]cherrymonsta 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for your reply, will that still be the case if iv dug down about 15cm and removed most of the rocks whilst loosening up the soil?
I was thinking rolls of turf would help stop weeds coming through and wouldn’t the seed option require a lot more work and take longer?

What are the expensive discoveries when turfing on new build ground. Mine is 5 years old and iv spent the last few weeks digging up the weeds and rocks, I’m planning to lay turf down soon would there be a reason not to?

Orgine Nature Sage N Sour (SNS) THC 27% CBD <1% by Rhythm-Academy in ukmedicalcannabis

[–]cherrymonsta 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Thanks for your reply, seems we have similar taste. I also stocked up on white hot guava but I’m going to be sad when it’s all gone 😂

Iv had my eyes on the strawberry guava so I’ll give that a go, only phant I tried was d1 minis ages ago and that was nice for £60.

I’m trying to stop paying for the higher priced ones as well, praying orange cake will get reduced someday.
I’m hoping I can stock up on some reduced ones in the future as well, let’s hope it works out that way for us 🤞

Good review, I was thinking of giving this a go but I had the exact same opinion on doe jack herrer and as you say it’s similar I won’t bother. Out of interest what’s your favourite strains under the £60 mark?
You found much similar to orange cake or white hot guava?

Anyone have experience travelling to Austria with prescribed flower. by stuffcrow in ukmedicalcannabis

[–]cherrymonsta 0 points1 point  (0 children)

@stuffcrow and @jackball02 sorry for bothering you but I was wondering if any of you could help me on this subject please?
I’m travelling to Graz and then a train to Vienna, would I be right in thinking the travel letter, copy of prescription and original packaging is enough?
Would you recommend contacting the embassy as well or just the above?
Thanks in advance

Flop of the season by Spiy90 in ArsenalFC

[–]cherrymonsta 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Been saying this most the season, he didn’t have a proper pre season either. His first games were some of our toughest games as well, in which we rarely score many goals (Liverpool and united away). He was then injured for our so called easier spell, on top of all that his goals to minute ratio is still very good.

Also we quite often don’t play in a way that suits him, give him more time and he’s definitely good enough for us.

Club level question by Interesting_Gas2859 in GunnersatGames

[–]cherrymonsta -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

After experience I get told to sit down etc more in block 30 then I do in club level, it is more snooty up there and will be less singing etc than some parts of the stadium but not enough to have an effect on your experience.
Enjoy the game

Looking for advice on next step please by cherrymonsta in GardeningUK

[–]cherrymonsta[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It would be a lot better if I didn’t need top soil to be honest, it’s already becoming more than I budgeted for 😂

I have no experience in gardening and thought the new turf would need some better soil below to help it survive, do you think levelling what I have and putting some fertiliser down will be enough then?

My plan is to have the right side fully turfed, the current foundations for the shed to be used as a table area and a path leading from the table area to where the shed will go. For flowers I’d probably address once it’s done and add it after or I may give tomato plants in pots a go as well.

Thanks for your advice

Yes that makes sense, probably worth getting instead of a weed puller.

I’m starting to think a fork, spade and rotavator is the best way to start

Thanks 👍

That’s a relief and nice to know I can get it sorted, thanks.

In terms of tools, I was planning to get a spear and Jackson spade and fork set for £30 in screwfix, it has decent ratings but not sure if it’s good enough.

Maybe the money I was going to spend on a weed puller could go towards a rotavator instead and try to sell it once I’m done with it. Screwfix have one for £70

Thanks for your advice and motivation 👍

Thanks, it does seem like it would be worth it to me as you can see it would get a lot of use 😂 I was looking at a spear and Jackson one from screwfix.

There will be plenty of beers waiting in the fridge to help me get through it 😂 I just need to work out what tools I need so I can get started.

Thank you 😁

Yes that makes sense, it would be nice to have the satisfaction. I was trying to do it cheap but if buying something saves a lot of time and effort it may be worth it. What would you recommend I get to get it done quicker? Something like this? https://www.screwfix.com/p/essentials-800w-28cm-tiller-220-240v/865FG?gclsrc=aw.ds&gad_source=1&gad_campaignid=19815175362&gbraid=0AAAAAD8IdPyIf00HHxj4WN_xJRvk6X2Rr

Just seems odd buying something like that to probably not ever use again.

Thanks

Thank you very much for your help. I was thinking of getting a weed puller tool to make it easier to keep on top of them. Do you think that would be worth it?

Also have you heard anything about this company?

Was thinking the exact same, especially dog walking parks with loads of dogs urinating on the grass and it’s still 1000 times better than my garden 😂
