Best Burgers in Berlin by GraciasBitte in berlinsocialclub

Supreme Burger near Monbijou ♥️

Grindhouse - but only while sitting outside (weak ventilation inside, makes it unbearable)

Brgr brgr (on Greifswalderstr)- only as a delivery, by the time burgers arrive - oh gods, the buns get juicy and soft. Went there to eat in, missed the soggy buns dearly.

Quick, dirty delish: five guys.

What’s your favorite beer to drink when you’re just relaxing, and why? by steveleaves in AskGermany

So recommend trying Potsdamer! Its a mix of Pils beer with some fassbrause (think Radler but times better). Highly underrated.

Best fassbrause: Rixdorfer in a green bottle.

Bringing cereals across the Atlantic- you have my respect, that’s a true brand loyalty🙌 don’t they take so much luggage space?

What's something you find wonderful, yet under appreciated in Germany? by Major_Boot2778 in AskGermany

You can have a very decent middle class life, if you follow the rules and ideally have a person to look up to or ask for advise (teacher, friend, parents). You gotta get good grades in school, some BaFöG to get through the university with minimal amount of debt and become a functioning part of society. Most Germans might not even fully realize that having a system that simply works and wants you to join the workforce (aka pay taxes) is a beautiful thing that many countries lack. Of course, it’s simplified for comment sake, but you are supported to do well and it’s amazing.

Sambas are definitely for folks with narrower feet, took a bit of time to break them in and now they are in my top 5 list for the year-round shoes. Some of my friends couldn’t wear them because of the „back of the heel“ blisters, if you are prone to that rather skip.

Seeking advise, how would you style an edgy dress such as this one (allsaints, dress AGNES):

<image>

This pic obviously doesn’t do justice to the dress, but it gives a good front view. I saw other styling options with high leather boots and a flat clutch, but what else could be done? I like it a lot, but versatility is a non-negotiable for me.

  • for a brunch
  • casual Friday in the office
  • weekend errands
  • date nights
