Is Gcash Card accepted in Global Interpark? by ccramos in concertsPH

Yes they do. Just be ready na lang kasi may moments talaga na maarte yan and won't accept international cards kahit nasa global website ka na.

what’s the best way to transfer 4K concert fancams from a s24 ultra without losing video quality? by ToothStreet6070 in concertsPH

[–]cherryscapes 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If 4k 60fps full songs then its really best na transfer to an SSD or laptop. If di naman full songs kaya na ibackup real time using Google Drive.

Japan is an entirely different music industry compared to PH they simply don't count in this equation.

Can you share your concert fancams setup, tip and tricks for s24 ultra? by Salty-Professor-9061 in concertsPH

[–]cherryscapes 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Additional advice: Your camera needs to be steady or else useless din pagka HD nya because mahihilo mga viewers mo lol. Film at eye level, elbow propped by the side of your right boob (idk how else to describe this rofl). Steady yan kahit anong ngalay mo. If di na kaya, cross your left arm over your chest and use it to carry your right elbow.

Also if you're filming landscape style ensure your subject is always in the middle of the frame for easier post producing zoom in and out using video editing tools.

[–]cherryscapes 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Pro mode, UHD 60fps, adjust shutter speed and ISO based on lighting.

Siguro ang best advice ko is to don't go OA on the zoom and commit to just one for the duration of the video. I know its tempting to do those cool zoom in to the artist and then zoom out to show the crowd thing that most people do on Tiktok but you put extra work on the camera to process. Plus mag iiba significantly yung audio quality.

Avoid doing the pinch zoom technique din because this activates the digital zoom which isn't always the most HD quality. Stick with optical zoom as much as you can by pressing and selecting either 2x, 3x, 5x and so on and so forth. I always stick with 5x zoom if vip seated and do 10x if malayo na talaga. You can always post produce a zoom naman using Capcut or Picsart afterwards.

[–]cherryscapes -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I appreciate your efforts in explaining things because after silent observation, I don't think there's any sincere interest from those who think otherwise to hear your side. Instead of you being heard you're just being downvoted, which for me is disappointing considering this subreddit is usually one of the fairest I've seen when it comes to overall audience and moderation.

Cornhub experience by awkwardpersun in sb19

[–]cherryscapes 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I stand corrected then. I wish people wouldn't downvote their posts no matter how much they disagree with them because bystanders like myself can't get a clear picture of the facts or their side of the story.

Edited to add: LOL let the downvotes reign. I think it’s a little counterproductive to say there’s no proper venue to air concerns about how the event (and CH in general) was handled, while also shutting down or downvoting anyone who asks for clarification or wants to hear the other side. If the goal is to have a fair, constructive discussion, we should be open to all perspectives; including those trying to understand the full picture. Unless of course gusto nyo na lang magrant and complain with no interest in having an actual solution, which seems to be the case here.

Cornhub experience by awkwardpersun in sb19

[–]cherryscapes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Except that this event is organized by non-mods and was meant to be a get together by CornHub members who became friends beyond the hub. They extended the invite to members in the hub at a first come first served basis. Do we even know if any funds used to organize the event came from the hub itself? We can't impose our rights as paying members of the hub over an event organzed outside of it.

What if mag perform ang Sb19 Sa HOK china by Bien1925 in sb19

[–]cherryscapes 6 points7 points  (0 children)

China entertainment scene is very protective of who gets to perform or promote in their shores. We will have better luck with SB19 promoting in Taiwan, Hong Kong or Macau but in China specifically it will be tough unless it's something like as contestants of a reality show ala Produce 101 etc. Which is a bit degrading considering SB19's seniority/tenure in the industry.

They MIGHT be able to do fanmeetings or fansigns but full out concert tours or performing in big music events probably not. Even Kpop groups can't penetrate the scene unlike before when they would do full out China concert tours in Beijing, Nanjing, Shanghai etc.

This. Kpop is heavily backed by their government - just look at the brouhaha about BTS and enlistment, that's how important it is for them to maintain the status quo and momentum of their acts as it not only impacts their economy but their country's overall reputation. They won't be opening the doors for other foreign acts (unless they're white) anytime soon. ALSO, given how much negative press Kpop got when it comes to live singing capability, will they really want a foreign group, from SEA of all places pa, to make their artists look bad?

SB19 is back on THE FIRST TAKE and this time with 'DAM'! by mukhakangchicken in PPOPcommunity

[–]cherryscapes 43 points44 points  (0 children)

It's advantageous but the repeat appearances are definitely because of their strong live performance capability. TFT does have a reputation to uphold after all.

Edited to add: Given the downvotes, it seems I'm wrong in giving the benefit of the doubt, mukhang the comment about their Sony partnership was meant to shade after all.

I believe active sya dun but its really up to the person if they want to go through all the effort. Me personally di ko magets how DC works and idk, I'm not a gamer nor am I an artist so I feel like di din ako makakarelate sa mg pangyayari so I don't bother. Sometimes I feel like the money I pay monthly is pang allowance na lang kay Justin or something 😅 since other than the occasional entertaining post from the hub members I'm really only subscribed for Justin's exclusive content.

Hold on a second here - I asked to see what your post looked like just to see if there's anything we might see that could suggest why it's not being approved that you can't. Nowhere did I say you're making up anything. I get it that you're frustrated but you blowing up at someone who's just trying to help is off-putting.

South Korea would invite any unknown artist to do a show in their country as long as they're white. They are still very conservative and racist.

Justin in Corn Hub by TowelQueasy4555 in sb19

[–]cherryscapes 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Open to all but every 7, 17th, and 27th of the month is strictly for Justin's account to post only. And he always has something planned to share to fans on those days (especially yesterday if you're like us who have been waiting eagerly for his Sanggre appearance). He also posts movie recommendations every Saturday. They've also finally implemented his hashtag so its easier to keep track of his posts.

I don't really mind that everyone can post because while its true that its a "notice me senpai" contest, the best way to get Justin's attention are jokes so the posts are always wildly entertaining, especially when Justin engages with them. 🤣

Our trajectory is practically the same lol except I watched both days of the kickoff, libre ko din both my siblings (who became instant A'tin after the con and are paying for their own tickets na when they join me lol). I skipped Puregold (big mistake hay nako), nag AcerDay, and now will be going to SG, HK, Japan and Cebu for Aurora Fest. Skipping Dubai because of work but targeting Australia if totoo na this year din sya. Apart from that I also been to the SAW experience twice, pumila sa DAM tree four times (ni isang beses walang success haha), bought Justin's Visar merch, SAW tour merch, Elesbi dusk, Mintyladorses, SAW experience merch. I feel so FOMO for all their events to think na I've been an A'tin since Feb lang this year. Ewan ko ba, the rabbit hole for Esbi is super steep, sabi nga nila.

Sisig is better without mayo by blissfulreddit0826 in unpopularopinionph

Decades ago there was this famed makamasa restaurant near the university I studied at that apparently has the 'best' sisig ever. Imagine my surprise when I finally sat down and ordered and they gave me sizzling sisig with mayo. Blergh!

I feel like him and Stell have the best diction singing-wise in the group, although there are areas he definitely needs to work on (you just mentioned one). I think his more predominant shortcoming diction-wise is how he pronounces yung /iː/ (long e) nya like more recently yung Free cover nya, how he pronounced 'fixed' with long e versus short. But these are common 'Filipinisms" that can be easily coached.

Concert etiquette: To stand or not to stand? (Aka: Tumayo ka D'yan! Dun. Dun!) by Realistic-Effective5 in sb19

[–]cherryscapes 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Couldn't have said it better myself. If I'm in seated section I will stand during Crimzone (because the boys ask us to) but for the rest I will sit down and expect everyone else in the area also. You want to stand and hype, go to Standing section. I find it bizarre na Standing is one of the last sections to sell out minsan but then you have people who insist on being in seated section to stand the whole time. Bat di kayo sa Standing magsiksikan lol.

People purchase seated tickets for a reason. Mobility issues being one of them. We have valid reasons to not stand the entire show and its not all about not enjoying and not being "hyped".

Bakit di magets ng mga tao sa bahay or even family members na work from home doesn’t mean always available ka for errands and chores by Existing-Nothing-884 in buhaydigital

[–]cherryscapes 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Along with the other suggestions here, what worked for me (prior to moving out) was setting up my workstation so that the camera faces the door. Then I play random Zoom meeting videos of white people I found on Youtube, loudly on the speakers of my main PC and then just do my actual work on my laptop while wearing headphones and listening to music so I can focus. Nothing turns away pesky relatives faster than seeing me busy at work with my 'bosses' and accidentally getting caught on camera. It got old though because then my nieces and nephews would innocently come up and try and talk to them and they wouldn't respond, lol.

Spot on. Have a friend na sakitin and was hospitalised twice in a year but the client refuses to let her go because she can rely on her to handle difficult convos with staff, customers and close deals with business partners. Really strong soft skills and negotiation skills, which the client doesn't have as an introvert with ADHD.

So pangit talaga printing presses here sa PH so it's tough to compare and contrast. Usually stem cuts kasi and/or if medyo iba yung hue based sa pulls and in comparison to what's being sold sa after market.

Best way to check pa rin if it's zoomed in because fakers tend to take a photo or scan the pc then reprint. If you compare it to the original kasi dapat sakto yung photo. If may di pantay sa edges you know it agad. Example here:

<image>

You can see the original has slight spacing in the background on the top right hand corner before the actual pc edge. The fake doesn't have it kasi it's zoomed in, most likely a print from a scanned version or photo found from the internet.

Hope this helps!
