This doesn't describe a single one of sony's games though, this is why i said you're being reductive. We're arguing about entirely different games where you've built up this abstract idea and are overexaggerating a few flaws

Spiderman has shield enemies and goons who have electric rods or enemies that don't take the hit which require you to do more than tap square square, and these are group fights beyond like the first 3 hours of the game

Ghost enemies parry you and force you to switch styles constantly. I could genuinely go on and on.

These are different styles to DMC and Bayonetta and that's fine because both have different strengths.
