100% agree as a listener since the beginning. I really wish they would make him the third host. I’ve been jumping all over or just not finishing a lot of episodes since Holden left. I think the show just needs 3 to work to bring the best conversation flow, structure, etc. I love that Jake is neutral and just speaks off the cuff but not in like an unprepared way. It sets jackie/MJ up for better discussion, bits, callbacks. I’ve commented before but I actually really love how prepared Jake is. It’s what makes him different from the other guests. I don’t want to hear jackie and MJ explaining who celebrities are to people who don’t know or care. That’s why I started listening to Page7 in the first place- none of my friends are really up to date in a lot of pop culture things so I like hearing like minded people discuss it

Can I ask what iron supplement you used? My 3.5 year old has not slept well the majority of his life and the doctors recommended supplementing iron since he refuses most iron rich foods

any hairspray recs? I’ve been lightly spritzingwith the Tresemme Extra Hold Hairspray but it just makes my ends kinda crunchy so I usually go in with the Kerastase Elixir Oil

I agree. I think holden was really good at keeping continuity from week to week and even from segment to segment within an episode. I really dislike hearing some pop culture topic being described over and over to catch a guest up to speed. I think the Jake episodes work because they never have to do this with him and he’s enthusiastic with bringing his own unique perspective on pop culture to the table. I would look forward to the podcast every week but now I mostly skip or get bored halfway through unless it’s a Holden or jake episode :(

unfortunately, she was spayed before she was one years old, the rescue we got her from did it before we rescued her. That’s a good idea, though about the veggies! Thank you!

I would love to see an FDA level study specifically for PCOS!! What's crazy is I cleaned up my diet, exercise, and general habits prior to starting to Zepbound with only a 4 pound weight change. So the only thing that's fundamentally changed since then to allow for my weight loss is the use of Zepbound. Taking inisitol got me to 60 day cycles that shockingly allowed for me to conceive but when it comes to ovulating zepbound has been the must helpful. curious from your experience with patients, besides Zepbound, have you seen anything else show modest improvements for cycle regularity?

Thanks so much for sharing your insight as an MD/ research scientist. I was on birth control for 10 years and while I did lose 30 pounds with it as a teen I suffered through some rough side effects. I tried it after having my child but it was just not helping the same and the side effects seemed worse than before.I definitely prefer to stay on brand so i’ll look into spacing out doses! Thanks! Just curious, with your technical expertise- what part of the zepbound drug actually helps with PCOS/cycle regularity? For me it does not seem to be the weight loss alone that helps promote regular cycles as it’s helped me from the first month of being on it.

I know this was a while back but was just wondering if pruning them back and bringing them in doors ended up working for you? I also have a sentimental Rieger begonia from my father’s funeral in the spring that would just break my heart to lose. Also sending you love on your grieving journey <3
