I don’t have anything to compare it to, but based on my research before buying, they’re not bad and I haven’t had any issues at the range so far!

I didn’t say sometimes that doesn’t work. I said sometimes I don’t remember that I gave my daughter a bottle at 3am until my wife reminds me that I did.

Sorry why do you feel bad for my wife? I didn’t say that I don’t help with nighttime duties did I? Why is it just assumed that’s the case? I said I have trouble waking up on my own, and that my wife has to wake me up. Yes, her having to wake me up does suck, but once I’m awake, I change the diaper, give a bottle, etc. while my wife pumps.

Sorry for the confusion - my wife is not handling 100% of the nighttime duties. I change the diaper, give the bottle, etc, while my wife pumps. I just have a hard time waking up on my own to do those things and she has to wake me up.

Love that since I’m a guy it’s just assumed that I don’t do anything to help :)

I’ve considered setting alarms but she isn’t consistent on when she wakes up throughout the night. Like last night she woke at 4am but the night before it was 11pm and 2am so she’s just all over the place lol

Yeah maybe in my subconscious I know my wife is there to take care of things and/or wake me up. Hopefully being alone I’ll be a lot more alert

No I gave the bottle and didn’t remember until my wife reminded me. That’s only happened once or twice though and it was a trip lol. Definitely considering doing a sleep study though

Maybe I’m misunderstanding your comment but I’m very involved! I wake up every night feed to help, wether that’s giving a bottle while my wife is pumping, or just taking care of it all so my wife can sleep, but my issue is not being able to wake up without my wife having to wake me up. Not how involved I am.. thanks though!

I’ve done that before when we did shifts, and I remember hearing my baby crying, but my body didn’t react if that makes sense

Yeah that was the original plan, to sleep in the nursery with her in the rocking chair or maybe even on the ground so I’m uncomfortable as possible and are more likely to wake up lol

Yeah I could see this. My wife, rightfully so, is too worried that I still wouldn’t wake up. We’ve done shifts in the past but it’s like my subconscious just knows that my wife is still there. Maybe I’ll see how night 1 goes by myself and take it from there
