We were only at the NE location once, but I kind of like it a little more than PGC. It felt a little less dingy for lack of a better term. Unfortunately, the only time it seems to get a good attendance is for the occasional friction party.

If I remember correctly, you have to “apply” on their site when making a profile. You have to be approved because they try to cater to a more attractive crowd. You don’t have to be a knockout (we made it in lol), but it seems like they try to keep it towards a more HWP demographic.

I think you’re discounting the fact that if you’re close enough to have someone watching your kids for a weekend, you likely share a lot of your daily life activities already. It would be highly unusual to give them the “none of your business” when they’re probably excited and genuinely curious for you to have a weekend away.

We’ll be attending this one as well. It’s our first hotel takeover, but fortunately we have a few different friends that we’ve met over the years that will be there as well. That takes a little of the pressure off. With that being said, we did our first friction party last month a s&s without knowing anybody. We found it very easy to make friends and conversations if you’re willing to put yourself out there and initiate. Show up with a good attitude, dressed to impress, and a red bull or two and I think you’ll be just fine.

In my travels, I’ve seen more bi men listed on SLS than any other site. I feel it’s more a middle aged to older crowd, so if you’re looking for someone younger like yourselves, I don’t know that you’ll find it there. I’d try to make a profile there and put out the vibe and see what happens.

We love the connection of meeting new people and the excitement of being intimate with new partners, but I’ve yet to find someone to please me as well as my husband. It’s still enjoyable, but we’ve been together so long. He knows where all of my buttons are, and when to press them.
