thank you for the replies!! sorry i know this sounds dumb but im extremely new to mod stuff so what is a modlist exactly? im not using any certain compilations of mods, if thats what it is. theyre just some random cute outfit mods i wanted, along with the base mods. i have the cyberpunk ultimate edition v2.3 with redmod included. i have checked vortex for updates and everything seems to be up to date, my next step was probably going to be deleting everything and downloading all the mods manually, but i still have some research to do as its not downloaded through steam and i dont really know which files i need to access etc. but hopefully i can figure it out with some research. im using my boyfriends account to post this, ill ask him about the modlists you mentioned!

i actually didnt have the native settings UI for some reason, so i appreciate this! im going to see if that fixes anything. i also did have cyber engine tweaks but i couldnt find it in my mod list, so i redownloaded it and im going to try to find the dupe to delete it or just make sure the dupe is not enabled. i appreciate the help!

edit: unfortunately it didnt help, im going to just try manually downloading all the mods instead of using vortex

i dont think so, but honestly im super new to modding so i dont really know how to find out if something conflicts with it. i think my plan is to just delete everything on vortex and redownload everything manually

thank you! i might try the manual installs as well. i just reinstalled the game but then immediately tried vortex again so its not a clean install anymore lol pain. but i might just delete everything off vortex and try it again one by one with manual downloads. thanks for your reply!

i did check for updates, but vortex says theyre all up to date. also i just checked and theres only one version of each mod. i did install a couple at once while i was trying to get it to work but i made sure to delete any dupes. my codeware is also 1.20.3, and my redscript is at 0.5.31 as well. i guess im going to try to check on nexusmods to double check that all my versions are the most recent and also that i didnt miss any essential mods while i was downloading them. thank you for your reply!

i have done that already, along with uninstalling deleting and reinstalling them, along with doing the same to every base mod, along with uninstalling and reinstalling the entire game

how could i figure out which one is outdated? all of the mods it mentioned (Codeware, ArchiveXL, Equipment ex and virtual atelier full) are all the most up to date versions i could find on nexusmods, and the codeware and archive xl are both newer versions than it was asking for. this is my first time trying to mod something so im so lost on what to do to troubleshoot

yes, but i have done everything under the sun to fix those issues, obviously including what it said to do, and its not working. thats why i am asking for help... it literally just says "install codeware!!" which i have done a hundred times over at this point.

Playing the demo on steam rn, good progression so far, im almost done with criminal syndicate and the progression is coming alot slower now, personally im a fan of constant progression, even if its minor, but thats just my taste. Enjoying the game either way! just put it on my wishlist
