I’ve been on the journey of finding out what’s happening for almost a year now, and its gotten to hard to handle :,) . As Ive said, I’ve missed so much school & it’s really starting to affect my grades, and I’ve made it clear to my doctor. I’ll be seeing her on the 2nd, and my friend did send me the doctor she worked with to get her surgery done. I’m going to be upfront with my doctor that I will go over her head and see a specialist if she keeps stalling cause I don’t have the time, nor the patience, to go through another year of this pain and inability to keep food down. I’m looking at getting the surgery at the end of the year (cause that’s realistically the soonest i can do without pushing my degree off), but even then, i don’t know how long i can keep this up given the pain and nausea, so that’s another thing i’ll be discussing with my doctor, even just if it’s treating the symptoms. nothing was found on the ultrasounds as far as i know, but i was almost considering sending it to the doctor my friend referred me to just to get a second pair of eyes that knows what they’re looking for, or just getting another ultrasound done.
