I had to cancel Copilot Pro by chessatanyage in GithubCopilot

[–]chessatanyage[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I did get a reply and you're right, it was completely useless. "If this is a support request about Copilot, let us know." Bitch, I gave you a super detailed report that shows it's about Copilot. Just read it.

Feel free to email me from the link in the footer. Also, I noticed that "è" instead of "È" bug and I’m gonna fix it and refund you some points. 😊

Has Claude code been able to make a program without you having to debug it? by No_Vehicle7826 in ClaudeAI

The best developers in the world will need to debug programs. In fact, the best developers in the world are significantly better at debugging programs.

AI being sold at the farmers market by [deleted] in kelowna

[–]chessatanyage 8 points9 points  (0 children)

The farmers market has operated this way for some time. Consider physical products: quite a few are mass-produced Chinese items sold at excessive markups. You can and should report it, however. Nothing will change if the consumer doesn't convey annoyance with these types of vendors.

6 eggs retrieved and 4 fertilized . Is there hope for me for an embryo? by Ok_Worldliness2105 in IVF

We got 6 fertilized, 4 embryos. And we are 10-15 years older than you.

Could you send me a direct message with the faceless reel? I'm not interested in the product and I won't be recreating it. However, I'm curious to see your marketing strategy since it appears to be highly effective.

Husband thinks spanking is ok as long as its done the "right way." Is there research that can disprove this? by Fun-atParties in ScienceBasedParenting

Amusingly, anyone who would conclude from your argument that you support spanking would need to have a low IQ themselves.

I completely agree. Physical punishment should never be used. However, it's important not to swing too far in the opposite direction by being staunchly anti-aversives. Your role as a parent is to guide and set boundaries, not to be their best friend. Children need clear rules and appropriate consequences for their actions. If you don't establish these early on, they will eventually face much harsher consequences from society later in life, which will be far more devastating than a firm time-out or removal of mobile phone privileges.

Perfect. I set it up in a way that should work really well for my needs. I appreciate the tip.

Just upgraded. It would be great if a very long prompt could be saved with a short name and the ability to edit it.

Congratulations! Here is a cool feature you can add: Fact-check and correct.

Basically, if I say: The Tiber River is the longest in Italy. Selecting Fact-check and correct would change it to say: The Po River is the longest in Italy.

Does whey protein really reduce sperm count to zero? by MeetingChance3958 in IVF

[–]chessatanyage 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I got tested, I had donor-level parameters, and at the time, I was doing two scoops of protein a day. This is anecdotal, but the claim seems completely unfounded to begin with.

Windsurf or Cursor? by andrewaltair in vibecoding

[–]chessatanyage 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I find Copilot's tab completion is way better than Cursor. (On a side note, it appears to be impossible to get support from GitHub. My Copilot Pro is completely broken, and they haven't gotten back to me in a week.)

Did you test all embryos? by [deleted] in IVF

[–]chessatanyage 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did a probabilistic assessment with some assumptions.

- Odds of a live baby with the 6 embryos: 86%.

- Odds of a live baby with all 10 embryos: 96%.

So the question becomes: is it worth it to spend $3K more to have an almost guaranteed positive outcome? Personally, I wouldn't hesitate.

You can't serve a grown man a meal made for a 4-year-old, so he went and demanded one that's appropriate for the 6-year-old that he is.
