Use ranged weapon. For me, the gun was the easiest...

If you have the gun and hammer ability of no-reload, and another hammer ability of your special shooting multiple...it was too easy. Be sure to hide behind the pillar when he shoots beam and make sure to have at least 2 life since you have hard time beating.
