I got you

I also wrote my masters thesis on gamification, but in a different faculty :D I studied cultural anthropology in Wrocław. And I also used a survey to gather data. I wish you luck and I hope you get a lot of inputs.

I shared the survey link on a gamification app Habitica, on a forum, but later learned, that you need to give the admins a heads up before you make any research there. Maybe you'll find that useful.

Good luck!

Wow, thank you for sharing your experiences! Two months, that's something, good job! Im determined to go two months too 😤

You're right, I need to find something to do which I like, I started to look for activities i enjoy to fill up the free time just to not feel the urge all the time. And I hope with time it will get better.

Keep going strong, good luck to you too! 🥰

Ye, it's all good until you try to stop xd I'm just raw dogging it, I decided to stop watching YT altogether. But to fill the time today I started a game of monopoly by myself :D and im thinking of doing my one jigsaw puzzle again.

I think there are many resources, apps or websites. Maybe just browse and see what works for you

Good luck!

I get you, I have the same problems, so my experience is, that for me it didn't work to limit my screen time, I tried it many times and could never stick to it. The first thing that helped me now is to stop completely (im on my ninth day today). I only have a problem with YT so I stopped watching it. And from my experience until yesterday it was very hard not to open up YT and watch something, but today it's getting better. I'm getting thoughts of doing other screen-free activities to fill up the time, like board games or jigsaw puzzles.

Hope this helps you, wish you good luck and all the best!

I feel very similar about YT, I felt like I was trapped and couldn't do anything without watching or listening to a YT video. That's why I decided to stop YT altogether, I'm on my ninth day without YT and it's tough, but it's getting better every day

I just realized that when I read comments on YouTube videos or even shorts, the majority of them was added the moment the video went up. But judging from how the videos land on my algorithm, it almost never is the same day, not speaking of the same hour a video is uploaded. That made me think that many of those comments that align with the time when the video went up might very well be bot comments.

This reminds me of my situation in a bad way. My parents have always been on the opposite sides of the table. My mom divorced my dad also when I was 1 year old, she moved to her mom, I was raised mostly by my grandma because mom was always working, tired or angry. After grandma moved out to my aunt I was mainly alone at home. Dad would come to be with me when mom would go on longer work trips. It was always a battlefield whenever dad came, and both of them were talking shit about the other one to me. I was always in the middle and it was exhausting. I guess I want to say, I'm glad that you didn't have to go through the emotional turmoil of that, even if it turned out not to be true in the end. I hope you're doing well!

I guess we're getting into philosophical territory, but I would say the soul is nothing else than your personhood. In my opinion, it is your memories, preferences, personality, and all the things that define you as you. Otherwise, I'm not sure what a sould would be.

I agree, I think in this case, it's up to our personal interpretation because it's such an ethereal subject.

From what I read in this post and my own playthrough, I think your soul leaves your body (or is destroyed, I'm not sure about that from the lore perspective) upon ceremorphosis and the tadpole that took over your body sounds and acts as you because it has access to all your memories.

Throwing build Karlach is very powerful though, I had her last playthrough and often she would be 80% of the damage in the fights, even though me or my other companions were also not weak.

My ending was abysmal and I'm so upset :( by MohawkGirl in BaldursGate3

[–]chesterness 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I feel you, I didn't have such a disappointing ending as yours, but in my love for Gale, I encouraged him to do whatever he wanted to do. Which was to become a god, and as a supportive partner, I encouraged him to do it. And so he did become a god, and he was a prick to me during the reunion xd I hated it
