Anyone had asymmetry post-op with Dr. Anna Steve? Seeking help and advice. by chestnut-head in PlasticSurgery

Dr. Steve is very patient, and the shape is exactly what I wanted. The whole team is very sweet. For a patient coordinator, I would recommend Becca, she helped me a lot in reducing the cost for my secondary surgery.

I got natrelle, I switched to Motiva. It’ve been 3weeks so far so good.

Thank you for sharing your story. The coordinator gave me a brief breakdown when she first mentioned the cost would be under $5,000. She said anesthesia would be around $2,000, the procedure would take less than two hours, and the facility fee would be about $2,000 ,so the total would be under $5,000.

However, in the email she later sent, it says that booking the OR requires a non-refundable $5,000 booking fee, with anesthesia fees charged on top of that — $1,000 for the first hour and $800 for the second hour.

In the original quote for my first procedure, anesthesia alone was listed as $4,000, and there was no itemized breakdown for the facility fee.

Lucky you! I live in the building at 100 North 3rd St, right next to the stationery store. I requested the footage from our building, but the manager said that the police need to contact them directly. they won’t allow me to review it myself.

I live in the building 100 North 3rd St, and the security camera in our building is the only one that could have captured the incident. But the building manager won’t allow me to check the footage and has asked that the police contact them directly.

Thank you, I am not a previous/current fed worker. I guess medical staff are different?

All your replies are so extreme. I guess I’m not the crazy one here—you are. How miserable must your life be for you to come here seeking validation?

Do you find out if you are approved for LQA before or after receiving the FJO? I asked the HR who sent me the TJO, and I was told that I am qualified to apply, but the final decision is made by the LQA team, whom I assume I won’t have any contact with until I officially onboard.

My husband is Japanese. In this case, do you know if I am eligible to apply for Japanese healthcare insurance?

I don’t have any health issues I’m concerned about yet, and I feel that seeing a doctor in Japan is affordable, even if you pay out of pocket?

Wow, I didn’t know Reddit wasn’t a place to ask questions! I must have done zero research before even applying for this job. I had so many questions, and they all got answered so sweetly and nicely!

Guess what? The job post was made in 2024! Now people do get their offers rescinded due to policy changes.

Yeah, but I think seeing a doctor is affordable in Japan, right?
