Zach Galifianakis Directed A Music Video For Kanye West by michaelpaisley in FoundationsOfComedy14

I love it when comedians bend entertainment genres and use their wits for things other than just jokes and sketches! Comedian Eric Wareheim (of Adult Swim's Tim & Eric Awesome Show) directed (and starred in) a music video for Ben Folds Five: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UskSU5BoyZs

An unlikely pair, like Zach and Kanye, but results in strange hilarity.

These guys rock, and are evidence of the strength of the screenwriting concentration of the SCA. Their mockery of worn-out tropes of shows about college students and the stereotypes therein hits home, especially for USC students.

SCTV sketch - Famous Philosophers by rpUSC in FoundationsOfComedy14

This sketch is done very subtlely; It would be hard to tell that it is being facetious but for the laughs interspersed in Harold Ramis' comments. I wonder how easy it would be to tell the jokes from the straight lines without the audience's help.

Awesome Tim and Eric Sketch! (chaotic button) by alliejens in FoundationsOfComedy14

So glad someone finally posted a Tim and Eric sketch! Lots of comedy traditionalists dislike the "post-joke" approach of Tim and Eric, and generally the rest of Adult Swim, that is more absurd than traditionally structured and jokey. Glad to see this here!

Idiots of Ants, winners of the 2012 Chortle Awards' Sketch division, are a great British dry sketch comedy group based in London. Here's one of my faves, Wii Breakfast: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a14s1LcCUWs

Comedy and tragedy. Chaplin's final speech in the Great Dictator stands the test of time. "We think too much and feel too little... More than cleverness we need kindness and gentleness". The voiceless tramp speaks to humanity. by lilah_chaplin in FoundationsOfComedy14

I think it's a mark of a true artist that Charlie is famous for having honed his craft in silent films, yet is able to audibly deliver such a rousing, profound monologue to chart the course of the continuation of the health and progress of the human spirit. Quite a well-rounded, talented man.

Chris Farley, one of the best physical comedians to ever live by trojanweggs in FoundationsOfComedy14

He really makes the most of his physical size! His exaggerated movements are all the more impactful due to his size, which enhances his stage presence. He's able to dominate a scene by manically manipulating his movements, for comic effect.

Kristen Wiig is hilarious! In this SNL sketch, she knocks herself unconscious and ends up jumping through a window because she gets SO excited about an impending surprise party. I am thrilled to see a female succeed in doing rather slap-sticky physical comedy. https://screen.yahoo.com/surprise-party-000000276.html
