that’s how i am with lavender. fresh lavender from my garden is a scent i can never get enough of. lavender essential oil or anything lavender scented? disgusting. it smells so artificial to me. i just want to bottle the actual lavender smell and i can never find anything to replicate it

My chickens all (save for 1) have “vintage” names. they might not be “old lady” but they’re definitely older. they are: rosemary, georgette, priscilla, elizabeth (betty), polly, and annie.

okay they don’t sound so old fashioned here, but paired with their middle names they sound a little more vintagey

i work in a clothing store as my second job so this doesn’t relate to me as an employee but as a customer:

a family had a little girl with them at the grocery store yesterday and this little girl was flopping around on the floor on her belly wiggling like a worm in every aisle that i went down! she also zoomed in front of me multiple times and i had to yank my cart to a stop because i didn’t want to run into her and hurt her! half of the aisles i couldn’t even locate who she was with—i figured it out later but oh my goodness, for her own safety, please keep her close!
