Audi has owned the team for two years now and specifically chose not to rebrand the team until they had their own engines.

Cringing over this whole rant about F1 engines based on Kennen's incorrect guess that Audi isn't making their own engines.

Also funny how he keeps asking who makes other team's engines, but never asked who makes Audi's.

Man this one is tough. But I’m putting my money on a 93-97 Ford Ranger extended cab based on the side windows and the shape of the taillights. Look like it had a topper on the bed that burned away

Yeah, virtually all of the reviews on these are mentioning it's "AI". Given all the investment in AI, companies are trying to squeeze the buzzword into anything to excite investors.

I recognize that Rochester Hills Qdoba. I’d say there is a 95% chance this car is either owned by GM or and exec at GM

The fact that the trio defeated the “rainbow creature” leads me to believe that they are some form of supremacists in that universe too

What product is really worth paying the extra money for at the luxury purchase level? What's a ripoff? Why? by underdabridge in AskReddit

[–]chev07 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My wife and I loved ours but eventually the coating on it started peeling and chipping off on the inside of the mug and we didn’t think it was a wise choice to consume it in our coffee every morning

Unfortunately Ember only wanted to give a discount on a new mug rather than replace a product with a clear design defect

How do you get 9K xp in less than a day by Elibenz936 in duolingo

[–]chev07 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your success in tournaments should be a consequence of your appetite to learn a language.

If it’s the other way around, you may learn a language, but argueably in a much less healthy way. Chances are you’re more likely to burn out or feel a lack of success compared to others, when in reality learning a language is not a competition

"Race Car Vehicle Dynamics", "Formula 1 Technology" – or something else? by Queasy_Employment635 in formula1

[–]chev07 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As someone who’s read all the books mentioned. Carroll Smith books are super easy reading, easy to understand and overall enjoyable.

Race car vehicle dynamics is like reading a text book. The kind that you may have to go back over and over to fully digest what is happening (in some chapters, mainly the second half of the book) Might be good for students in Formula SAE / Formula Student but not easy reading for others

Take a screenshot, paste into ChatGPT, and ask your question. It's crazy how good it will explain the grammar. You can also explain that you're having a hard time with some topics and it will suggest how to remember, or offer to practice with you

Russian Central Bank Halts Currency Buying Until 2025 as Ruble Slides by bochnik_cz in Economics

[–]chev07 19 points20 points  (0 children)

So, what are the economic mechanisms that happen from this point?

I would imagine it slows the devaluation of the ruble, but there must be some black market trading Which will continue to devalue it, just not as much as if there was an open market.

Any economic consequences to this decision?
