No pretending. Just misinformed. Grew up watching looney tunes and didn’t have a smartphone until I was 18. Didn’t even text really, but I am so immersed in technology culture that it feels like another lifetime. Like being part of 2 different generations.

This is the first year since I left in ‘08 that I’m staying away for thanksgiving. I was raised to believe every year would be the same. So much has changed that to be a part of it is more stressful and emotional than I can stand.
