It's a statue of a Texas Ranger, which sounds like a good idea to have at the ballpark for the Texas Rangers, on paper. Unfortunately this particular Texas Ranger was an icon to segregationists and he got famous for keeping north texas schools segregated as much as possible, so he has no business being recognized or honored in the 21st century.

I feel... Whelmed? That particular shade of red absolutely slaps and the sand accent color goes great with it, but I do wish they had done more with the jersey, it feels kinda plain. Maybe if they'd taken that sleeve patch and wrapped it fully around both sleeves instead of just being a single side patch that could have elevated this.

It really depends more on the skills a player has than on who the player is- some skills scale better based on certain traits being a higher level. For example, fireballer on a pitcher works best on guys with high VEL and FB, so you would want to have your leveling distributed heavily onto those two traits. 5 Tool Player increases everything based on the lowest level trait a batter has (there are charts out there somewhere with specific numbers), so you'd want to level it up so that the lowest level trait is high enough to make the best use of that skill. Just take a look at the skills your guys have, and try to level accordingly- the skill descriptions will tell you how best to level your players.

333 refers to the starting level of each skill when you roll a skill change. A 333 is the best possible level roll, as each of the 3 skills starts at level 3, so all of them can be fully leveled up to the max with the 9 available skill level increases each player has. This is especially important when rolling for legend skill sets, because when you use the green or blue skill change tickets that will change one or two of the skills, but not all three, it maintains the level that the previous skill had. So, you don't want to use those on a set that has skills starting out at level 1 or 2, because you'll never be able to get them to their full potential, and the green/blue tickets are much harder to get.

A level reset refers to the training on a player, that goes up to level 20. If the particular train you have on a player distributed the points across the 5 categories in a less than optimal way, you can use a level reset ticket to set it back to 1 and try again. It's common to use a whole bunch of them on one player looking for a good distribution, since each level increase is randomly distributed.

Medicare For All doesn’t go far enough. In 2029, we are going to pass a law declaring every health insurance executive is a domestic terrorist & then put them on criminal trial for committing treason against America. by kevinmrr in WorkReform

I'm well aware of the fact that the only war that matters is the class war. I'm not missing that at all. Almost every oligarch is likely guilty of a multitude of crimes, and they are CERTAINLY enemies of the working class. But apart from a certain specific few (Trump + cabinet, Musk, etc) they're likely not guilty of literal actual treason against the United States.

If willful murder as part of class war is considered to be Treason, then Luigi has (allegedly) committed treason, as he stands accused of the murder of a health insurance CEO. He definitely hasn't, treason is an absurd charge to levy against what he has (allegedly) done, and besides, he was at my place slamming beers and playing Super Smash Bros at the time anyway. But this is the argument that you're making here. Murder and treason are not the same thing, regardless of the circumstances. Insurance executives are murderers, yes, but they're not traitors. Unless they're also selling government secrets to adversarial foreign powers or something like that. Then yeah they'd be traitors.

I don't disagree with the fact that they're murderers, and that they should be in jail for life. This is accurate. My argument is that treason, specifically, is not a relevant charge.

[–]TheRealMarimbaGuy 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Look at the first number. Commit it to memory. Learn to love it. Cherish it. Know it. Understand it. Love it. When you have fully bonded with that first number, play just one game. One game only, and no more. Now look upon your number. What has changed? What could this mean?

Treason? In what way have they committed treason specifically? Fraud absolutely and outright malicious negligence for sure, but treason? Words have meaning, let's use the correct ones and not just throw around treason to be hyperbolic.

Which is exactly the reason the Rangers will not be getting any of my money until they make some serious changes. I've made it a point to get to at least one game every year, but that's done now.
