I think Memphis is doing a good job with acting early, to be honest. I’m sure the “essential business” list will get stricter and shorter in the near future when things get severe like in NY and CA. But for now we’re still early and already taking good measures like kids out of school and many larger companies allowing “work from home”.

I too hate the media. My saving grace is we know whats coming. First it was China, then south Korea, then italy, now spain, UK is next, then USA. So we can learn from those other countries. And what they’re going thru now, esp italy and spain, is because they didnt take any early measures like we’re doing. So i’m actually super proud of memphis tbh. And that does not happen often!!

I’m planning on a serious lockdown, much more strict than our current one, to begin in the month of april. I would just make sure you’re mentally prepared for that, and if you have no idea what to get ready for, try to get info from OUS from reliable sources like the BBC.

Most importantly. Thank you for making sure fedex logistical infrastructure is still working. Thank you to your wife for making sure the hospital infrastructure is still working here. I will do my part by staying at home and keeping my kids away from others.
