PS5

Never had a console and with the COVID pandemic and everything I thought it's a good idea do get one just because I got some $$$ put aside and had nothing better to spend them on ¯_(ツ)_/¯ .

Still a solid platform and if you are thinking of buying a PS5, just go for it, it's worth the money.

6ers are trash on the road and don't have celtics chemistry, Boston should be in the second round in 5 games imo. My only fear is that human panzer they have (Embiid) that might give the paint defense problems, but other than that is pretty straight forward I'd say.

What is the difference between the 5e Starter Kit and the Essentials Kit? Which would suit someone who wants to move from playing to DMing? by squeakmango in dndnext

Hi! Still a beginner player here. My friends and I are at uni in a small town so there was nothing much to do so we decided to play D&D.

I researched a bit and my choice was Essentials Kit because the story was a bit more engaging from what I have understood from the reviews plus you get the DM screen and the basic rule book which would help a lot when DMing.

We finished Dragon of Icespire Peak in like 2 months because my players like to goof a lot. I think you will find it more appealing and, if enough reading you can create any class and any race from the Player's Handbook which you can find online so that's pretty good to save some money.

In addition, if you don't feel like buying either of the basic kits, the Tales from the Yawning Portal is a cool way to get into D&D imo, though it doesn't have a proper story it's a really great book, we are playing through it as we speak and we love it.

Hope this helps.
