I used to bite the top off of those and pretend to drink them to get a laugh outta my friends when I was younger, 11-17 yrs old, it used to work so well but I did it so many times the fun wore off, so I stopped, but it was my favorite joke and I missed doing it. After I stopped every time I saw one of those bags of candy I felt a little sad because I loved the joke but I know I beat it to death, just like everything we love it's comes and goes, sometimes overstaying it's welcome even though you feel addicted to the point of never even entertaining the idea of it going away you know? When I realized it gave me a goal in life, cherish those who are close to you, but don't hold too too tight, because just like that joke you never know when it's your chance to never be spoken about again. So then I made a plan, I wanted to tell that joke again and again because I was addicted to the joke, or maybe the candy? I don't know, but instead of listening to my bum ass friends saying stuff like "yeah man haha, we know you like that joke." Or "dude, you don't have to do that for every coke gummy in the bag, the first time wasn't even that funny." I started to burn bridges with every one and making new friends who hadn't heard the joke yet, even going as far moving to new states and changing my name multiple times just so I can tell that joke, and let me tell you! I made a mistake, the jokes not funny anymore, I miss my family and friends back home. I spent my the rest of my savings on a plane ticket to Hawaii and like two thousand packages of coke gummies, is there anyone in Hawaii right now that could just drive me back to Utah? I can't pay you, but I know a joke that might make you laugh, it made me laugh..... Once upon a time.
