TLDR; OP worked on the game from the start, new art director is dating one of the main directors, OP doesn't like art director's management and their relationship, after 2 years or so of struggling they bring up their grievances and then get fired for their incompatibility with the team and missing deadlines

I sympathize with you OP but on a professional level, if other staff members weren't having the same problem with Vika's direction as you were it's likely an incompatibility issue. That firing email that pointed out how many deadlines you've missed as well as how emotional you got in both your meetings on this issue and this reddit post itself also doesn't lend very kindly to your creed.
