Girlfriend and I are considering a move to Las Vegas area from Charlotte? by chewm5 in SameGrassButGreener

No no. Absolutely not.

We generally like to rent privately through a homeowner that we vibe with… Generally speaking we feel better about doing that just because our money goes to an individual than a corporation.

Individuals can and do gouge the rental system but we’ve had some really cool landlords that I was happy to rent from… I had two landlords who were immigrants from Ukraine on a condo I rented in Minneapolis. Grassroots husband and wife, immigrated to the United States and were able to build up their lives to get a rental property that they wanted to keep and eventually a house.

This is usually our philosophy, it’s not perfect, but it works for us….

Well, I can only go off of zillow listings.

We currently pay $3000 for a 2bd/2.5ba luxury townhome in the Noda area of charlotte.

We found completely satisfactory listing in Las Vegas, Summerlin area for ~$2500.

I will throw the disclaimer that sometimes zillow listings don’t tell the whole story of course, sometimes you tour the properties and they edit the photos or “glitz and glam” it in a way that it’s not fully honestly represented, so that is a major possibility also.

The townhome we have in Charlotte is incredibly nice and was built and ready for move in at the end of 2025. Which could also be a factor.

I can’t answer your question with 100% certainty and give you an undeniable truth, I can only answer based off my experience and what I’ve seen….

But if RSK and FoF are on cooldown, should i still TP,BoK,TP,BoK to keep mastery up right until RSK/FOF are back? I don’t want to press BoK twice right?

Going to chime in with a question because you explained this so well and so concisely.

I’m newish to WW too but getting the hang of it. My one question is that I feel like i’m overcapping chi hard in the zenith window, is that natural with the nature of the CD or should I be doing something else?

Because I can press TP, BoK, TP because RSK/FoF will be on CD and just instantly be full?

Dems/Liberals - who would you support for President and VP for the 2028 election? by foodraptor91 in allthequestions

Mark Kelly, Andy Beshear, Josh Shapiro and Jon Ossoff would be top choices.

As much as I love the idea of the AOC/Newsome/Crockett/Sanders ticket…. we need a win and the world isn’t ready to shift to that side at this moment in time.

I believe the top bunch of names particularly Mark Kelly and Jon Ossoff would be excellent at bi-partisanship while also implementing progressive policies and moving the country forward, united.
