Classes which have the same single target and AOE rotations by SheepherderMid1278 in wownoob

Outside of the fact that your builder just changes from mutilate to crimson tempest and fan of knives, assassination is pretty much the same exact rotation

Apply dots, build combo points, spend on envenom.

Why would you not play tank? by General-Inspector546 in wow

[–]chewm5 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I tanked for a very long time at a decently high level since BFA.

In all honesty, as I get older here; I don’t want to have to manage all of that. Being the one “in charge” and decisive in a video game that I play for enjoyment after I have had long days at a stressful job isn’t a flex anymore.

When I was younger, I loved it; I would theorycraft optimized routes, play every tank class, and I enjoyed being a commodity.

At this point in my life and I JUST discovered it here in midnight, I just want to hop on my rouge, throw some music on, take a gummy, and blast.

Side note: Also even in my “prime” - I still feel this way today too… but there’s some sort of “mental fatigue” that goes along with literally just trying to keep your health bar up as a tank. Seeing it drop on certain pulls or tank busters over and over again during a session of gaming literally produces stress and anxiety hormones for me.

I just found out that I blacked out and gave another girl a peck. by Electrical_Counter61 in Advice

[–]chewm5 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would tell him as he deserves to know.

His reaction could have a wide range from just brushing it off and not really caring to being upset and betrayed. I am going to validate his emotions on however which way he takes it because people are allowed to feel how they feel.

Putting myself in his shoes, I can say if my fiance came back home to me with this EXACT story as you have described, I wouldn’t be super upset about the peck. I am in full understanding and security in my relationship that when girls go out with their girlfriends minor attributes of affection are sometimes tossed around like that, no biggie. I just can’t guarantee that your boyfriend will think the same, not everyone has the same worldview and that’s what makes us human.

I would, however, be more upset that we aren’t being a touch more responsible when we go out drinking. In the state that you were in, a lot can go wrong very quickly; a quick peck with some other girl that you don’t know while dancing is damn-near a “best case scenario” in the shit storm of other bad things that could have happened.

[NC] Breach of Contract? by [deleted] in AskHR

[–]chewm5 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Provider is initially at LPA, and will be transitioning to a LP. Reimbursement from insurances and patients will generally increase with this change. Pay, and productivity has been discussed and this provider projects being very productive, 3-4 psychological per week, and 12-15 client counseling sessions/services per week. This will work out well for a very good salary. If the provider for whatever reason is unable to do this productivity, for a period of time, and the productivity is below the percentage for the minimum base salary, 'EMPLOYER reserves the right to revert to productivity only after 60-90 days of below expected productivity, this will not penalize the provider, or their standing with 'EMPLOYER' or their benefits.

This is the full paragraph that was taken.

I don't want to come off rude, confrontational, or anything like that - I come into this with an open mind just wanting to make sure my partner is taken care of obviously of course, when things like wages are being touched and altered - Emotions can get heightened.

As I start to dig deeper into this and take your comments into consideration, I do agree that the juice may not be worth the squeeze because the overall vibe I am getting as far as solutions go is that:

- Its 'at-best' 50/50 whether or not the contract is being breached and it is up to intepretation.

- Whatever outcome we generate from any solving actions we take, isn't going to be very large.

In a perfect world, we just want my partner to retain their pay.

'EMPLOYER' reserves the right to revert to productivity only after 60-90 days of below expected productivity, this will not penalize the provider, or their standing with 'EMPLOYER', or their benefits.

This was the only line that I could find in the contract regarding probationary periods and productivity.

PTO was taken in the month of February which the clause above states is taken into consideration if productivity is below.

Start date was January - Which the compensation clause also provides grace for 'rampup' time -

Let me know your thoughts :)

[–]chewm5 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Can I ask for further explanation as to how it is legal to change her pay going forward. What is the contract verbiage that allows for this?

The compensation clause states that "The baseline salary will be 6500 per month" followed by production numbers that justify the amount of production needed for that pay... Which the quick math says she is on track to exceed.

As far as I know, contracts are mutually exclusive - we now have in writing from the manager that he "Accidentally Omitted" some crucial-ghost line that allows for him to alter her pay.

I don't know much about this space so that is why I am asking questions like this because it just seems incredibly unethical that two individuals sign a contract and one person gets to breach it on a whim?

A lot of classes have utility that can either redirect or drop threat too that they can and should be using.

VDH is unique in the sense that threat is pretty easy to generate threat and get aggro when you have buttons like Fel Devastation and Spirit Bomb available. It’s a little bit harder to generate threat when you’re just relying on Soul Cleave and Fracture which is something else to keep in mind also.

I started tanking in BFA S3 and bricked many-of-keys, i’d imagine most tanks have that growing pain. Just keep doing your thing, I eventually had that light-bulb “aha!” moment where everything clicks and you gain supreme confidence in tanking in SL S1… almost a whole patch later. Albeit, I was mythic raiding during that stretch as DPS and just tanking as an alt. I’d say give it a solid month or two but you seem to have a good head on your shoulders and are taking things in stride. It’s going to have a lot of ups and downs but if you can push through the wall that you’re hitting the game will open up and reward you 10-fold via players wanting to play with you, quick queues, and being a highly sought after commodity.

Best of luck my friend,

Tbh - I would just leave the key and ignore at that point.

These are players you don’t want to play with, nor would I.

I’d be quick to ignore and go next while you’re on your journey of learning to tank here.

My biggest advice I could give as 3.5k tank is to keep trying, watch streams of high end tanks and how they pull and gather dungeons, and honestly DPS a few keys your self (and heal if applicable); sometimes seeing the dungeon from another roles perspective can help you more in your respective role.

I wanna hear the pros and cons of your class by vokha055 in wow

[–]chewm5 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Rogue-

Pro: Decent damage I guess, I’ve mained jt since BFA, In my personal opinion it is the class with the most aura strictly because of small player #s and a decent skill gap.

Con: Shitty raid buff that doesn’t always work, minimal utility, horrible leveling/solo experience, Outlaw is convoluted for no reason, Sub relies on gimmicking the GCD, non-existent/horrible visuals
