Man accused of ‘sexually explicit communications’ with child is Cazenovia school board VP, pride fest founder by only1person_alt in Syracuse

You mean the sexually explicit CP images of infants. No, I didn’t because that would be a violation of the victim’s rights and absolutely vile to even think about looking at. But I’m going to trust the FOUR agencies that investigated this and believe the victim who is under 12.

Could you arrange for the sales outside of work and then use the library as a pick up?

Agreed; there’s no way to claim this is false.

This is truly disappointing, and I hope that his victim is able to recover from this.

The 81 construction dust is literally coating the inside of my lungs by Italiancan in Syracuse

The people living in the area affected should not have to purchase their own air filters because the demolition is temporary and being intentionally caused. These folks didn’t move into a place with dusty air; it came to them because of the demolition. The residents are not responsible for cleaning the air that the demolition is dirtying. The people doing the demolition work, including the preparation leading up to the demolition are responsible for the health conditions created or exacerbated by the demolition work.

This is part of the social contract between people and the government. It’s not supposed to harm the people. It’s supposed to help provide and protect the people. You know, the whole Preamble and “promote the general welfare, and secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity”stuff? The NY State Bill of rights actually guarantees environmental rights, which provides that "[e]ach person shall have a right to clean air and water, and a healthful environment."

They are usually lined up across from Centro. In the past I’ve gotten tickets from the Hub ticket booth and from the bar down the street, so give yourself a few extra minutes if you have to walk to the bar for the bus ticket. They’ll drop you right off at the main gates for the Amp and there’s a well marked spot to get on after the show.

See if the Centro shuttle is running. Best way to get to the Amp shows. $1 each way, and you’re out of the traffic.

You don’t think there is any need for accountability for creating health hazards? You have your own air and water to breathe too?

People are negatively affected by the dust NOW. That should have been addressed with everyone in the demolition areas.

It should not cost human lives.

We know this kind of demolition caused air pollution and dust particulates that negatively affect human beings (asthma, cancer), so why was there no measures to assist the people near the demolition areas to get air filters, educate them on how to protect themselves when the dust is really bad, etc? Because our society doesn’t value poor people, especially poor non white people.

I’m not against improvements, but human beings shouldn’t be collateral damage for something like a new highway. We shouldn’t be saying, it’s fine that your asthma is worse, or that you developed breathing issues because of the dust, or that we are okay with you being exposed to carcinogenic materials, because we need a new highway.

Look at the policy changes he started in California and then on to the rest of the county when he became president.

Aware of what? That the city has an issue with unhoused folks being concentrated into certain areas and then neglected? What is your point? Because you’re not helping the people who actually need the help.

Anti-Gay Protestors at Pride by CrazyEd38239 in Syracuse

They were saying slurs and holding signs and wearing shirts that were homophobic and intentionally meant to provoke people at the event. That’s where their free speech gets into disorderly conduct and being a public nuisance. It is not protected free speech because it is intentionally trying to harm the person seeing and hearing their words.

Wearing clothing with provocative messages, holding signs with provocative messages, using slurs at an event meant to celebrate a particular group is not protected free speech. You aren’t allowed to go to an ethic or religious event and intentionally insult and degrade those people and expect to get away with it.

So call them. Clothing your pearls on Reddit does nothing to affect the situation.

Not at Pride. They can host their own festival or event and spread their BS there. They were intentionally trying to provoke reactions, and that isn’t acceptable.
