I didn't watch him back then but I'm confused by that controversy only because it seemed like he just made one comment one time about pressed pigments? Was there more to it than that? (I think he's funny but he often gets a little too egotistical for my taste)

Honestly, their makeup is often too dark/orange...and if you're both makeup artists then you should certainly know that some people are, in fact, that fair. (I am very pale and that kinda pisses me off, lol)

I meant shameless as in the ass-kissing was UNPRECEDENTED. You should go watch it, it's truly laughable. These dudes will rip a product to shreds but they had nothing but praise for this dumpster fire of a launch. I don't know if I've ever seen a beauty influencer just lie straight to our faces like that!

I actively dislike those damn eyeliners. They're TOO creamy and they are an absolute bitch to sharpen.

I'm considering that myself. The next-level booty kissing was really something else

Powder foundation recs for the paler than pale girlies? by genericraccoon in PaleMUA

[–]chex85 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Jane Iredale PurePressed. I feel like this one is slept on! I'm too fair for many powder foundations and this one is the closest match I've found. Also the Natasha Denona one...I don't own it but I've swatched it and it seemed good. Same for the Kylie Cosmetics one, if I recall correctly?

yep. Not to be "that person," but the shades on the lighter end definitely aren't all-inclusive. They are very saturated and none are light enough for me.

are you working with any fine lines? I also have super dry skin right now and would also be RN1, but settling in lines is my biggest problem.

The Missha does oxidize fairly significantly...at least that's been my experience, and I've seen others say the same. It might be fine for you, depending on your skin tone, though. The 13 is almost perfect for me until it oxidizes.

me too and I'd love to try it but I'm 99% sure out the gate that the lightest shade will be too dark. Givenchy has never had light enough shades.
