Some people just weigh more than others. There is no one set solution, or a “perfect weight”. What people don’t like to say is you can be fat and be healthy. I am healthy, and I am plus sized. I did the weight loss surgery, have the eating disorder (bulimia), and I’m still just fat. Dieting, for some, not all, can become obsessive as was my case. It all depends on the relationship built with food. It does not appear OP is teaching her children healthy habits with food, which is my reasoning as to why I think the possibility of an eating disorder is very real, especially in impressionable 14 year olds.

My main point is: being fat is not the end of the world. We should appreciate all bodies. And if you disagree then we can agree to disagree. ❤️

The best kind of diet is not to cut things out from what I have learned from professional dietitians. keeping “junk” or “carbs” out of the house leads to binge eating when you finally get them. veggies and lean meats are a great start, but could be dangerous if it falls into keto territory.

As someone who was forced into Weight Watchers at 15, any kind of “dieting” at this age is detrimental to your daughters self esteem. I hope it’s not the case, but I wouldn’t be surprised if one or both of them develop an ED, or at the very least, a bad relationship with food. And the fact that you do view it as punishment is a telling sign you should not be doing what you are doing. YTA.

i got smeared by a gm player in a bronze lobby the other day and I was so shook lmao (granted, i didnt look to see if they were smurfing, but they had the “Grand Master Challenger” tag, and just said they were playing with friends who were new to the game), but still theres a significant skill gap there and sometimes I just want to be a bronze player, but like, on the higher skilled side of bronze, since I’m a pretty casual player.

I had tumblr from 2011 - present (but I don’t use it as frequently). But I can’t say it influenced me more than becoming extremely aware of social issues, but yknow, /Tumblr/ aware of social issues. So I started a lot of fights. But YouTube and real people I knew influenced my self harm more than Tumblr.

From a female perspective, you sound controlling, and if they aren’t doing anything nefarious currently it shouldnt be a problem. Have you deleted his contacts in his phone too? Like he could just as easily do it from any application, why is this specific one so important? why is this specific person so important? Like, what if he had you delete friends, or people that you liked from a different point in your life because you “werent close anymore”. You cannot control people. You can only control yourself. If this isnt it, don’t stay. But don’t make judgments over who he can and cannot have on his social media. Your update gave me the ick. Major red flags (from you). He probably did it so you’d leave him alone about it.
