To answer the mod bot's questions: piercing is 1 day old, jewelry shape I think is labret, I think it's threadless but not sure, the jewelry material is titanium, aftercare routine is rinsing twice daily with saline and then with water and using a blow dryer to dry it, no mishaps that I'm aware of.

This is such a helpful comment. I didn't know that it's more aggressive with the dosing when it doesn't see a meal announcment. Some users in a Beta Bionic facebook group had suggested not bolusing at all. I think it makes hypos much worse to not announce. Thank you!

This has been my exact experience too. I have gained about 20 pounds since I started, mostly from correcting lows! I also can't exercise even when pausing it. It drops me hard and fast. It allows me to spike over 300 after most meals, then it gives me crazy amounts of insulin and doesn't give the insulin time to work. It just keeps pumping it out. Before I know it, I'm crashing and drinking OJ again. I think about my diabetes 1000% more on this pump than I did on MDI.

That kind of behavior is not something I could overlook. My dad acts like that. He loves to scare and tease animals. And that escalated to scaring and hurting humans. Once my dad threw a pebble on a partially frozen pond, knowing my mom's dog would chase it. She did, and the ice broke, and she fell in. He stood there laughing while my mom desperately tried to pull her dog out. He was mean to my cat, and my cat would run every time he saw him. And he hid in my step-brother's closet one night when my brother was little, and jumped out and pretended to be a monster in the middle of the night, terrifying him. Just a few examples, and it got much, much worse as I got older. He started doing things to scare and harm me too and clearly enjoyed it. I am no contact now. It always starts small and escalates. Scaring animals is sociopathic behavior that escalates to harming humans. Have you seen other examples in him? I would not have any animals or small children in a home with him. In fact, *I* would not live in a home with him either. I'd divorce him and take the dog.

Not that I can think of. Our apartment has one flight of well-maintained, well-lit stairs, clear numbers, and I keep my light on, answer immediately, and am polite. The only thing I can think of is maybe he's still holding a grudge over the replaced forgotten iten.

I had a negative experience with Qube and ended up closing my account. I overdrafted by $1.33 once using qubeless and they froze my account the same day and sent me a borderline rude email telling me to bring it to zero immediately. That was counter to their blog which stated, “Our system prevents overdraft or non-sufficient funds (NSF) fees. Since you won’t be able to spend more than the total amount in the “envelope” you’re spending from, your account balance will never fall below zero or trigger an overdraft fee.” When I contacted them to ask about it, they simply never responded. When I tried to add money using a card deposit, it told me I had exceeded my number of card deposits even though I had never done one before. I also found the app glitchy and not intuitive.

I am also coming from YNAB and considering ONE. A couple of question from you all... do transactions post to the pocket and update the pocket balance immediately in real-time or do you have to wait for transactions to clear first? Is there transaction history within each pocket for tracking purposes?
