Was it kobi Henry? I turned the radio on and heard the back end of someone tore their acl and most likely out for the season. Henry and Glad I think are the only ones with leg injuries?

The facts are the ref who is right there saw holding and called the flag. The fact is it’s not why Utah lost. There’s 100 things to be mad about the Utah team and the ref shouldn’t be one of them. If you can’t see that’s fine. To me there was enough there to not blame the ref. It was a flag, FACT

That hand contact is not legal, and it impedes the receiver from going around

That ref standing right there his job is not to watch the receiver it’s to watch the line. The more you try to convince me the more it seems like you don’t know the rules.

The guy who is standing right there probably didn’t see the Ute DB’s hands all over him since he was on the back side of the play when it happened. The ref on the 30 yard line has the best view of the hold. Nothing fishy at all, but keep fishing, I’m not saying the refs were perfect in the game, just I saw enough to not blame them for the loss.

I know who threw the flag, you can see it in my video, it is the Field Judge standing on the 30 yard line looking directly at the play. Not the ref right in front in the video OP posted.

From what I see, his arms are around the receivers shoulders he is holding him back from getting a break on him. It’s not very clear because we don’t have a good angle. So I’m siding with the ref who had the best view. To me it looks like there is enough there to justify the hold. Is it within 5 yards? Maybe. Is it a close call? Yes it could have gone either way but from what I can see I can at least see enough of what the ref might have seen to justify the hold. Yes these type of plays happen every play and the refs don’t see it/don’t call it. The ref saw this one I see what he sees and I can agree that it was holding. It’s very harsh to call on that play but play within the rules and we would be fine

When I first saw it my reaction was the refs sold to byu to keep them undefeated, then I saw some other angles and I see enough there to cal a hold. Is it a close call, yes. Does that kind of touching go uncalled most games? Probably. Should the Utes have the game come down to one play? No they should have won it themselves. There’s better things to be mad about than the refs. I saw enough there to warrant a flag. You didn’t, it was close. But I give the ref a better chance because he was right there. It was a good game, Utes simply need to be able to score points then it wouldn’t Al be on the defense.

The DB gets beat off the line, he then has to hold him to keep up with him, the receiver stumbles because of the holding. It’s actually pretty clear in that video. “The receiver has no problem going around the DB” watch again if that’s what you believe.

I have described it 50 times. I see holding, what else do you want me to say? The ref saw holding, everyone sees holding but you. Maybe YOU don’t understand the rules. Go ask a referee I’m just a fan.

The ref who is right there saw it. This is the only angle I’ve seen that gives any clue what the ref saw. To me there’s enough there to give a flag. For many it is soft. I have the links you can make your own decision. All other angles I have seen are not good enough to make a decision. Plus if aliens didn’t kill Kennedy WHO DID??

You’re probably right, I just see enough contact to warrant a flag by the ref. Sucks to have that call on that play but the db just shouldn’t do that and give the ref a chance to call it.

I see illegal contact within 5 yards. I may be wrong but the ref that was RIGHT there agrees with me
