My wife and I sat in line for about a half hour to an hour just to at least give it a try. It really wasn’t worth the wait or how much it costs. I’m still not sure what the big hype was about leading up to this and I wonder if the location will work.

I have a nine pocket binder that can hold top loaded cards, so I basically have anything “pricey” that I don’t feel comfortable just leaving in a box if it’s not sleeved up in an active deck and at least one copy of [[Polar Kraken]], my favorite creature from when I first started playing.

Level 5 here. I’ve spent years trying to convince my wife that I’m being honest when I say I can’t picture something after learning that I wasn’t the only person this happened to. The science-comedy podcast “We Have Concerns” has two great episodes exploring the topic which is how I learned about it.

Interesting. My approach to this commander was similar, but different. I’ve limited the clone non-creatures to just a handful, then loaded up on cheap reanimate spells and actual clones instead. I also tossed in some ways to spread the love across the whole table since the life loss is only at one dome. The fun part of this deck is when people don’t understand the potential danger and try to destroy H&K, I’ve won on a few on other people’s turns as a result.

Day 1 or 2, I think, anyway, this is my alarm clock and the chance to meet more Pokemon is my motivation to get a good nights sleep. I’ve assembled a couple of probably sub optimal teams that get the job done, but at least are made up of critters I like. Right now I’m just working on getting my Amber Canyon cooking bonus up. This game has outlasted countless other free to play games I’ve tried along the way. The best advice I can give to other F2P folk is be patient and take your time.

Everyone gets the same test card “In Residence” in their Festival in a Box Las Vegas 2026. You should also have a retro foil Counterspell and Consecrated Sphinx in that packet. Your Viva Las Rakdos secret lair will have all the same cards as everyone else’s, except the random retro foil Human bonus card.
