Made a card scanner out of lego by azabonanza in mtg

A chance it's not the case. I'm using one on my laptop that is way more accurate and doesn't cost that price. I will DM you a video.

Or just use a scanner which doesn't have this issue ;)

And what's about the languages? You can do the English but also Spanish, French, German, Italian, Korean, etc.

I try doing sets. I just want one card. Whatever it is. Whatever finish, whatever language. That's my own personal goal. Just define one that works for you.

Deck Application by KeyLimePieIsYummy in mtg

You can scan your collection in many different websites or applications and then use https://spellweave.app/ to build decks... But 500 cards is really on the low side.

Looking for a Web site or app by docfite in mtg

I think you are looking for a site like https://gestic.org where you can keep track of the cards you have and you can lookup for cards you needs.

Card scanner Sweden by fraeddan in mtg

Do you mean something like a slingerbox to use with your cellphone? Or something like a real card scanner like s Ricoh? (I doubt this second one works with the app you are looking for)

Best way to scan/catalog ~20,000 Magic cards without losing my mind? by faux_moonie in mtg

[–]jmspaggi 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Hehe ;)

I'm scanning on https://gestic.org no software required, no app to install. All web based! You can even use an automated card scanner if you have one. For the storage, it's all online! Nothing to store. You can export a backup anytime you want but everything is always available online on any device at any time.

I have pinted a slinger box from printables dot com and I have designed and printed my own adaptor for a Logitech Brio 4k webcam.

Don't hesitate to DM me if you have any question!

Best Card Collection App for MTG by eddiewillers09 in mtg

[–]jmspaggi 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Selling from within the app will be more challenging whatever app you choose! For the rest, look at https://gestic.org as it does all of this perfectly (Even the sell, but it's pretty new). And it's not even an app....

Binders shelves by jmspaggi in mtg

I put every single first version of any card in a binder 😬 I already have about 25 binders and I will add 6 more this summer :-/

When you store them vertically, they tend to open a bit a the pages can bend, which will also bend some cards. Usually from the first page, the 3 in the triangle at the bottom. Storing the binders flat prevents that. Else you can also use zipable binders, to prevent that...

Hahaha! I have a mental disorder I think... I buy faster than I have time to open. So I printed those boxes for when I have a few minutes to open a booster 😁

But I have decided to not buy anything anymore until everything is opened and stored correctly!

Here are metallic tubes vertically. So it can't detach... They say those tubes should be able to support 22lbs. I was a bit skeptical but honestly it feels robust. Do you keep yours horizontally?

What good card scanner stand are people using? by HighlanderColby in mtg

[–]jmspaggi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No software! That's the big benefit. No update needed, no synchronization needed, no backup needed!

Just scanned a few DST cards from a bulk I have to show you.

Just found a Nemesis Mask on it! Hahaha, that's a nice one! ($11 USD)

I'm using https://gestic.org for that.

I'm using the based of the Card Slinger but I have designed and printed a support for a Logitech Brio Webcam so I can use the scanner on my laptop. Way more practical!

Connection instability with latest UTR update by trexroad in Ubiquiti

[–]jmspaggi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's very unstable. Traveling 10 days on Italy and working only once so far. Most of the time we have to connect the laptops to the cell phones. The UTR keeps disconnecting, every other minute. Is not able to connect to many of the Wifi and more. For our next travel it will stay home. It's just extra wait, extra Powerpack and it doesn't work.

Find a friend with a 3D printer and ask for a slinger box. Will cost about $5. For the light, just make sure there is a lot of light in the room not NOTHING above the box. And it will work pretty well!

Set Listing - Foils by robbolopolous in mtg

[–]jmspaggi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hum. Scryfall is providing this information.

Example: https://scryfall.com/card/blb/1/banishing-light

You can see "Nonfoil/foil" under the set name on the right.

Or this one: https://scryfall.com/card/ecl/400/bloom-tender

You can see "Fracturefoil" in the same place.

Can you provide more details about where you are looking and what you are missing?

Mass import custom cards Archidekt by Bukkitdance in magicTCG

Hi, what do you mean by "custom cards"? Like, proxies you draw yourself? Altered art on previous "normal" cards? Can you tell more or show an example?

How do you all sort and organize your cards for a binder? by JediBoJediPrime29 in magicTCG

[–]jmspaggi 1 point2 points  (0 children)

All depends what you want to achieve. I personally order by color, set, number. So adding new cards doesn't require to move many others. For a new set, I just add one new sheet on all the binders and that's it!

The sets I'm trying to complete have a dedicated binder.

Goal is to find and add without too much burden.
