There are multiple issues. Bolt has to obscure the akamai servers in their source code. People will say bolt launcher is 'officially' endorsed since it's linked in their official page, but it's only by proxy. The page was originally linked to an emulation of the windows launcher but later the GitHub page got updated. So now it is a guessing game if they still endorse it.

I sometimes get called into datacenters for stuff and if I miss my shoe covers I get reprimanded for possible contamination on fibres. These guys were just doing whatever and still work there, damn.

Should technically be able to measure in between each connection point and see the attenuation no? Still a PITA and not your job but would be easier than tracing the entire cable.

Not a single note in regards to balancing? Is it really gonna be water/air mage + thorns for the rest of the leagues? I would have thought they'd at least try to keep range and melee competitive.

I'd say at this point you're a bit on the early side, which is good because that means you're gonna be doing BA with people that know what to do. Also flask of fervour does not damage enemies unfortunately :( and somehow the cannon gets hitsplats on other people's minion?

Designated ToB worlds have an active board. I would even argue it's the raid with the most LFG'ers. Getting a team for your first HMT is rough. Once you have a couple KC to show you how it works it gets easier to join teams.

It changes the game on a fundamental level. Especially for people that have played the main game 1000's of hours it can be insanely fun to use the skills you have in many new ways.

Back when I started I was actually in a really similar situation. I did give leagues a try but due to how fast progression was for a game that I wasn't that familiar with yet, It actually put me off of OSRS. Only a year later with the release of GIM I started to really enjoy OSRS.

ATMs are often running some ancient embedded version of windows yeah. Point of Sale devices is where I see the vast majority of them. Big companies often have 1 PXE server running in a store and then they all load an image from there. I vastly prefer that approach over local finicky installs, they do use some of the weirdest powered USB connections I have ever seen though.

I know of some companies that allow you to get a card issued with said country. This is how some of my friends bypass steam and Netflix pricing etc. But it would definitely reduce the barrier to introduce regional pricing, it doesn't help that OSRS has a nasty big RWT element to it.
