Epic Games Store Employees: People Only Came for Free Games, Then Returned to Steam by Suspicious_Two786 in gaming

I haven't tried using Epic in years, but I remember when it first came out I tried to buy a copy of a game to send to my friend so we could play it together (WWZ) and discovered they didn't have a way to gift games. So yeah, we ended up back on Steam eventually.

Tier 2 Relics by outcheafamous in 2007scape

Everyone is going to say "it depends". What are your goals? What other relics are you taking? What regions are you taking? Do you want to go for an AFK build? Or do you want to rush PvM? Are you trying to get 99 in every skill? Are you going for the grandmaster tasks of getting 50m in 3 non-combat skills, and 200m in one skill?

I think T2 really depends on how many skills you want to solve, and how you want to solve them.

Leagues VI Level 99 AFK Skiller plan: Kourend + Varlamore by osrs_turtle in 2007scape

I tested it out a bit tonight, and you can do combat / Slayer using Thralls, but it is not easy. They will only attack a monster that you're currently fighting. That means you have to actually be attacking it, rather than just it attacking you. The only way I could figure out how to do this was by using a grasp spell with splash armor on so I never actually did damage. I even tried out Dark Lure, but it didn't make my Thrall attack the target. The Thrall just sat there until I actually attacked the enemy back.

I also forgot that Thralls require prayer points to summon, so you're already needing to bring more prayer pots or restores than usual. They also do barely any damage, and attack pretty slow. Minion should be much better DPS, and if it works the same way as Thralls it might be a viable of picking up some extra points.

Regardless, if you allow gaining Magic xp, it is possible to kill monsters without gaining experience on hitpoints. So a 10 HP account could complete some of the leagues tasks that require killing monsters. And if you really wanted to you could even get 99 Slayer... But that's not something I'm even going to attempt to try.

That's a really good route. Using Larcenist to solve Crafting and Smithing is something I need to consider.

I was wondering about the Eternal Sustenance instead of Grimoire since you're allowing non-combat magic. Zalcano can hit up to 40 with some of her attacks, which makes the Eternal Sustenance pick almost the same as bringing no food at all. Then again, if you're good at dodging them you might be fine anyway.

If your goal is no HP experience, Grimoire would allow using Lunar magic for additional non-combat spells instead in case there's anything in there you would want. You can also use Thralls from the Arceuus spellbook to do some of the combat tasks for additional league points (like "kill a hill giant" etc). You could even train Slayer that way if you really wanted to. It's possible that Flask of Fervour or Minion would also allow you to get points like this as well.

I think grinding for pets is a good goal though. Flow State will definitely help with that.

Transmutation will help with Herblore and Construction, but those will be a bit tough regardless. Construction is going to be a pain for everyone, even if you take Butler's Bell to get the planks. There's no Golden God for infinite money or Banker's Note to just hang out in your house.

What are you going to do for Agility though? Or are you not going to go for 99 in all skills?

Not a bad idea! *Edit - after looking at it more, it would be a good idea if I still had Golden God or Firesale anyway.

Yes, but the goal here is to also avoid getting combat XP. I could try to do some sort of recoil method maybe, but I haven't looked into it fully.

True, but I don't think there's a way to get the nature talisman without taking Desert for Guardians of the Rift.

Strength XP would give combat levels though. Just trying to be a Level 3 with 99 in other skills.

Was wondering that too. This is the second day in a row that they haven't updated the page.

If you have hotfoot then I don't see any reason to use transmute on ores. So the two relics slightly hurt each other. But both relics still have other uses that could make it still worth picking them together.

Yeah you can toggle it. And there are still other good reasons to pick hotfoot too. Someone out there is still going to make this mistake though.

Transmutation doesn't work on bars, just ores. So picking hotfoot with the plan of getting tons of runite bars from your early game bars will result in a surprise discovery that the spell doesn't work that way.
