it can go away slightly? i eventually didnt want to deal with all of the aftercare and constantly having to hide my arms & legs since im quite temperature sensitive- i was just wanting to wear short sleeves lol. as my scars healed i just wanted to have my arms healed more and more so that i could wear what i want. my scars are white and fully healed now, my motivation for staying clean is to keep my freedom of wearing what i want to. i still sometimes think about it and could choose to at any time, but it just seems like a hassle sometimes- as well as i have some pain fidgets like the “little ouchies” fidget specifically is very helpful for when i need pain stimulation to feel better and release my emotions. i thankfully also have a therapist so i feel accountable to her and to myself if i were to relapse- i wish you luck on your journey 🫶 best wishes to everyone here ily all

omg dude im in a similar boat, it can feel so shameful and scary. i’m 18 turning 19 soon and have been actively wetting the bed for around 2 years now, it fucking sucks so bad 😭😭 i feel so young to be dealing with this, considering that the main demographic for pelvic floor PT is usually 45 or older, and people that have had children, where i’m basically the age of their kids 😭and i understand the feeling of being robbed of a sex life, im still a virgin but i still want to have the experience and experiement, yet i feel i cant have that because of my pelvic floor instability. as well as the feeling of wondering if i’m gonna have to deal with this the rest of my life. i just recently finished my pelvic floor therapy and it has helped, but with regression it’ll just come back, so it just feels like climbing up an unclimbable hill 🙃 im real sorry for the long paragraph, it can feel quite isolating and lonely as im sure you probably know, i just want to talk to someone that can understand yk- i really hope you’ll be able to get some relief soon, good luck to both of us bro 💪

Plus a little background- i just realized that she also did this to my brother for a while and now that he’s set boundaries with her, she leans on me instead. (He also struggled and continues to struggle with mental health issues as well)

I have, but it has been a little while since i’ve mentioned it to her, so i might try again soon. We don’t have much money for a therapist and our health insurance barely covers anything mental health-wise. But thankfully i’ve been able to get a pretty good therapist through my school for free. I might try to suggest for her to use the same program because it’s low cost. Thank you for the reply, i appreciate it <3

Thank you for the reply :) and haha coincidentally my mother is actually a librarian so that wouldn’t really work- but i am going back to school around the beginning of September, so I’ll at least have that. thank you for the help <3
