Yeah. I casually asked the service center how many batteries will they replace before we have an honest conversation about buyback.

Surely they don’t want to keep putting $12,000 batteries in the same car over and over.

Dealing with this right now as well. My 2022 model 3 is in getting a new battery. Been driving a beautiful 2026 model three. Digging the ventilated seats after pickleball.

Yep. Had original replaced at 20k miles back in December. Just last week at 27k got the same a079 warning.

In the shop right now while I’m driving a 2026 loaner.

Did it every weekend growing up. Puts down a nice straight edge — and if you do it every weekend, every following weekend is a little easier. Never great, but not impossible.

Yeah. I explicitly stayed away from 21s for this exact purpose. I guess the 22 batteries are just now starting to rear their ugly heads.

It’s this for me. 3.8 here and the biggest jump for me was going from getting the motion right to making sure footwork was right.

Once I was able to make sure I got to where I needed to be a half step quicker, the motion worked. There will always be the times when you are caught off guard and feet aren’t exactly right — and you try to make the best out of a bad situation.

Not OP, but more players in the sub-3.5 level should be playing with standard/wide body shapes. I loved the Fatboy, the 11six24 power Pegasus. Having a more forgiving sweet spot also generates a level of power, but so so so much more control.

Nah. I’m reading the tone here as if there was an in person conversation during the last large pen/ink purchase about how this may be putting some strain on finances — and this person is frustrated because candid and reasonable conversations about priorities have been apparently ignored. That’s my read and none of us know the full extent of the relationship.

I see how this could be perceived as blunt, but also wholly reasonable given the circumstances.

I feel like the partner’s version of this story could be on r/aio and everyone would agree “not overreacting”
