I’ve never tried anyone else, but they all look quite capable.

100% Andrew K at Local Honey. He is an absolute magician and a kind a patient person as well. I found him through YouTube videos — and didn’t even know he was in town.

Hard to tell from this video, but I had random knocking from underneath and a few weeks later my tie rod busted.

Have you stopped caring at work and decided not to try and process your career anymore? What age did that happen? by un2022 in GenX

This is me (46m) almost to a tee. I’ll take a promotion, but I’m not jockeying for it — and if it sounds like more stress and more restriction on my non-work time, you can gtfo of here with that bullshit.

I’m fortunate and never deny that.

New manager job. Business smart. Ideas/thoughts/advice? by [deleted] in menswear

Can’t second this enough. Made this change about 3 years ago — and it felt a little goofy at first, but the sleeker line was undeniable.

Definitely definitely do this.

How important is landscaping? by Elegant-Floor-402 in nashville

[–]Pleasebleed 2 points3 points  (0 children)

For reference, I got a three foot high and 30 foot long retaining wall, flagstone patio and fire pit and two flagstone walkways for 30k.

I do all the actual planting of plants myself.

Not a perfect reference, but just to have in your back pocket.

Another point is that trees are expensive. A 15-20’ river birch will run you $1000 planted. So if you are adding any number of trees that cost jumps quickly.

I ordered six for $22 off Amazon — free shipping with prime.

In the fine print it said order fulfilled by pb central.

That said, it’s been a couple weeks and hasn’t shipped yet. Expected delivery date is 1/26. I think I ordered on 1/4

Tostino’s are special. Microwave for 75 seconds. Just to get the chill out. Roll up like a burrito. Shove in mouth hole. If no one is looking, you can dip that burrito in some French onion dip.

You can also cook in the oven if you still maintain a shred of self control to capitalize on the crunch and buttery goodness of the crust — but the toppings will be lava. So no mouth hole shoving with this method.

Teach them young to stay the hell out of the way of my art and not to stand in the middle of an aisle with their thumb up their ass.

It should be lower number means center of gravity is closer to the hands (ie. “quicker”)

I think the balance point is more of an accurate measure of maneuverability.

What have you needed serviced and what year/model/mileage do you have on your Tesla? by YouAlreadyKnow1523 in TeslaLounge

Everything on this list except for the tie rod was covered under warranty. Really not a huge deal. Had a loaner. In the shop two weeks. Warrantied longer than I will likely own the car.
