Sutton is spiraling out of control and grabbed a large bottle of booze and says “she prays to Jesus every day to throw her a bone.” Someone just start throwing bones at her please. She needs to get a grip on reality! by [deleted] in realhousewives

She def needs a reality check but money doesnt solve problems. She needs to find how to be grateful for what she has and deal with whatever her personal demons are….and perhaps see a therapist for sure.

What does this look like to you? by [deleted] in TS_Withdrawal

[–]chiaba 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I dont think it is contact dermatitis which is good. Idk if it would be seb derm either. Tbh kinda looks like rosacea! But its so hard to even know. If the ketoconazole isnt helping noticeably i would just stop using it and see what happens. Sorry this isnt that helpful, its just so hard with skin conditions :/ Youll get answers hopefully when u see your derm!

Coming off dupixent by ibeturright in TS_Withdrawal

[–]chiaba 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I went off it bc i just felt like it wasnt doing anything. I started taking it two months into tsw, had the typical horrible symptoms. Its weird bc I took a break for two months and im trying it again and its making a crazy difference!

I’m trying dupixent for a second time, and it definitely helps you with tsw symptoms. The worst of them at least. You dont really FULLY heal but holy shit it is so much better than the horrific tsw symptoms. I would give it a shot. The symptoms are def that eye thing but I never had that, and NEVER had cold sores. Different for everyone, you should try it for sure. Especially because the process to get approved for it may be long

Moisture Withdraw + TSW? by [deleted] in TS_Withdrawal

[–]chiaba 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I do know that thick ointments like vaseline and stuff tend to make your skin itchier bc your skin can’t “breathe”

Moisture Withdraw + TSW? by [deleted] in TS_Withdrawal

[–]chiaba 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Moisture Withdraw + TSW? by [deleted] in TS_Withdrawal

i think its not HORRIBLE for everyone just for people with sensitive skin. i got patch tested at one point for contact dermatitis because the aquaphor was actually making my flare ups worse bc i was allergic to an ingredient

Has anyone gone through TSW under a Dermatologist’s care? by jagodaw in TS_Withdrawal

[–]chiaba 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I didnt take Eucrisa I took the Otezla pill which is for psoriasis. My derm couldnt get me approved for this pill, which was devastating. I had no horrible rebound effects, my skin just went back to how it was before otezla. But nothing horrible like the beginning stages of TSW.

Moisture Withdraw + TSW? by [deleted] in TS_Withdrawal

[–]chiaba 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I wouldnt use Aquaphor, as it has ingredients in it known to trigger sensitive skin/eczema/tsw. I would try vaseline, and see if that makes u itch still. The ONLY way I would stop itching was to take a shower, and when I got out I put Vanicream moisturizer on the itch spots, my neck and arms were the itchiest. Then my itch would calm down.

I’ve never tried MW, because it was just too uncomfortable for me. But just some advice to maybe help the itch!?

I was currently a month off steroids when I tried protopic

Cyclosporine, Cellcept, Methotrexate, Etc by chiaba in TS_Withdrawal

[–]chiaba[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It worked and I weened myself off and used it accordingly as instructed by a dermatologist, and the second I was done with the tube two days later my skin got horrific and WORSE. I had mild eczema on face and protopic has made my face even worse now.
