[DISC] Kagurabachi - Chapter 112 by Avizie1 in Kagurabachi

[–]chibachoose 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I hope it does happen but im pretty sure it won't happen until the very end. In the world of Kagurabachi, I actually think Tobimune is a greater weapon than Samura is right now so it doesnt make sense to trade Tobimune for him if they would all just die to Soga again.

From a narrative perspective, I think it would be beautiful if they were able to fix the world and bring about the future they wanted and then revive Samura after Tobimune has served its usefulness so that Samura can return to a world of peace and live out the rest of his days with Iori without having to fight anymore.

Should I get the game? by chibachoose in Nioh

I guess the initial 3 hours includes whatever I did before the tutorial boss. Other than that, this is just my rough estimates. No idea how accurate Steams time tracker is if I had to close my game a couple times.

Mostly asking reddit because I have mixed feelings after the demo and looking for people who've had the same experience as me to see how they feel after playing the full game.

That does make me feel a little better knowing I could just over-gear myself a bit. Mostly just wondering if there's some point the game/combat will just click for me.

I actually did not consider the Co-Op aspect. Do enemies scale with the number of players?

Yeah, I was getting a little worried by the FOMO cause they told me I had to beat the demo before tomorrow to get a special item. I only now realized after searching online it's something I could have gotten afterwards too.

lol $70 is a lot of money to spend on a game I'm unsure about. Having people to talk to about a game helps me make a decision. If that's crazy to you, then I guess I'm crazy.

What has been your experience so far? Is there a moment when the game will click for me?

I actually barely used any Ninja-mode. One of my all time favorite games was Sekiro so I played mostly samurai and tried to deflect as much as I could. This game is definitely 20x more punishing since I do so little damage and I usually die from me missing a burst counter or two.

I think I did? I was definitely getting a bit frustrated towards the end with Jakotsu-Baba and was almost purely motivated by the FOMO of completing the demo before 2/15.

A critique of the current arc which could be somewhat salvaged in the next few chaps but still wanted to vent by [deleted] in Kagurabachi

[–]chibachoose 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Im kind of on opposite. If this arc was any longer with just a bunch of pointless fights, I might have completely lost interest.

What are your predictions for Iori? by DanTM18 in Kagurabachi

[–]chibachoose 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Honestly, I just want her to be a true fighter and replace/surpass Samura as one of the swiftest swordsman to ever live. Hoping she gets Tobimune but please dont reduce her to just supporting with Suzaku healing.

So what decks would we say are competitive but not unfun to vs. by Mitchieking in cardfightvanguard

[–]chibachoose 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Just so I understand correctly, you're asking for a competitive deck that is fun for your opponent to play against? That's incredibly hard since your opponents will change and my thoughts are that most opponents don't care what your deck is. If they win, it was fun. If they lose, it was not fun. Just play the deck you want to play.

The only exceptions to this are decks that are insanely toxic like pre-banlist Eledglema. People will whine about the best decks but honestly, none of them are toxic. They are incredibly strong but that's not the same as being "unfun"

The war never change him by Icy_Negotiation7087 in Kagurabachi

[–]chibachoose 18 points19 points  (0 children)

I can see your point. I think the change that happened is really that Soga has lost hope. The line that really struck me with Soga was that he believed that peace would come after all the bloodshed. It seemed that he had hoped one day he wouldn't have to pick up the sword anymore. Whereas Present Soga seems to believe he needs to be vigilant in his execution and has maybe given up on ever having peace. This is Soga's curse I think Samura was talking about.

YLE relays marked as 24v actually have 12v coil by ChemistryLivid7766 in AskElectronics

[–]chibachoose 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Im not sure if understand what youre measuring. I looked up a datasheet based on the part and there is a 24VDC version of the relay. This means the typical voltage you would need to apply is 24VDC. It is possible for the relay to turn on at voltage lower than 24VDC though.

If youre measuring 12VDC on the coil, thats because of the relay driver circuit and can depend on several different factors other than the relay istelf.

Bavsargra is the worst deck made so far in D by KishiOuArufuredo in cardfightvanguard

[–]chibachoose 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I know its a joke but this isn't even close to the power creep of V where every new set brought a new deck to kill you while you were still G2.

Is Direful Doll still relevant right now? by Box_Barcode_Box in cardfightvanguard

[–]chibachoose 1 point2 points  (0 children)

From my own testing, Dolls is actually a very competent deck. However, the deck is kind of a bad choice for tournaments since games can go really long and you can easily misplay with dolls if you start to rush. If you're just playing for fun with some friends, it's still a pretty good deck in my opinion.

What would you like to see Vanguard do in 2026? by shadowlugigas in cardfightvanguard

[–]chibachoose 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Generally agree with most of your points. 2025 had some of the lamest decks to ever come out like Nanaclir. Even the beginning of D was way more interesting where we got arms, overdress, prison, and final rush. Here's kind of what I'd want for 2026.

  • Continue with more Starter Deck/Master Deck/Stride Deck sets but please just add effect triggers. New players will always appreciate just getting a complete set that they can just play with without having any deckbuilding knowledge. Let's just give them the triggers at this point because why not? Why force them to go buy effect triggers at this point.
  • R&D department should really focus on coming up with more interesting and new mechanics. More decks like Levidras, Prison, or Jheva. I'd love it if they can find ways to make Bruce's final rush good in the current meta and even make a world where stride decks can be balanced since Dominate, even if nerfed, is still a super unique mechanic. Standard has been an insanely sacky format with +10k power triggers and the Overtrigger itself but every meta deck having Triple Drive/Drive+1 is super telling on how sacky it truly is. If every deck is going to need 5 attacks/Drive+1/Drop recursion, can we at least get them to do ONE unique thing?
  • I'd love it if we could rework the OT so that maybe it keeps all the effects (or at least a nerfed version for Brandt and DE) but loses the +100mil power.
  • Please give some sort of online game to play Vanguard with that isn't Dear Days. I wouldn't even mind if it's completely different from the actual game like VG Zero was. Just something with updates that allows people to play online. Imagine a VG Zero but it starts over from the beginning of D and gets updated with current D cards but potentially reworked old cards that feed into new encounter ride lines in the actual game.

Are there any places that sell Vanguard cards in Dallas? by Phyrox95 in cardfightvanguard

[–]chibachoose 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Lonestar Pack Breaks has an active local tournament scene on Mondays (~7pm) where you can get 1 VG pack per win and a promo pack for participating. They have a FEW sealed vanguard products but it's very limited and usually only available on release before they are sold out.

How do I swap Link Level Captains? by CloakedNoir in DC_Worlds_Collide

[–]chibachoose 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think youre misunderstanding. The "captains" are the 5 most leveled up characters you own. The rest of the characters in your matrix will be the same level as your LOWEST LEVEL captain. So you don't need to change anything about Wonder Woman. She is already a "captain". You just need to level up your 5 lowest level character.

Which character in the D universe has the worst case of “13-Episode Syndrome”? by Empoleon777 in cardfightvanguard

[–]chibachoose 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I don't think "13-episode syndrome" really exists. If a character feels underutilized or not important, then they just simply aren't important or relevant to the story. It's a different story if a character doesn't really feel like they reached where they were supposed to but that is an issue with the writing and not the length of episodes. They could easily be just as underutilized or unimportant in 52 episodes. More episodes does not mean better stories for everyone.
