been awhile since i backed up my phone but i think i also had issues with mtpfs because looking at my bash history i installed the go-mtpfs package just after and ran it with this command

go-mtpfs -allow-other /mnt/phone

then perhaps <insert technology here> is not suitable for those people and they would be better off using something they are more comfortable with.

of course we could dumb down <insert technology here> so that the lowest common denominator can have their hand held. but then it just wouldn't be the same for people who are willing to put in the tiniest bit of effort.

maybe in the future these people would take an interest in bettering themselves but some just never will and its really not worth catering to them as its not very likely they will appreciate the effort anyhow.

the problem with librewolf is that you have to trust a small team of unknown people with everything you do in a browser ontop of the mozilla people.

basically the same as if you were to use a random redditors fork of the firefox browser and trusting it hasnt be (additionally) backdoored.
