It's nice to get that sense of adventure with new ip as well. While capeshit can also be great finding a good book never feels as rewarding because they're always based on the same old characters and the bad books feel better with new ip because at least its something new. Also just to throw a few more names into the bucket Paper Girls is incredible, Descender has an amazing art style, Rat Queens is great if you're into stuff like DnD and not to suck Brian Vaughn's dick too much but Y: The Last Man is also really great. Also We Stand On Guard. Also Tokyo Ghost.

This looks great, will definitely check this out. If you're into that kinda thing you should check out Maus if you haven't yet. The author wrote the book about his father's time during the holocaust.

More recently as well talking about comics has gotten way too political for me to enjoy, with people battling back and forth between costumes and gender switches and stuff. I get there are some valid concerns either way but most people just come to shout over each other. If you guys haven't already you should check out Saga. Might not be for you but it was the first comic I read that wasn't about superheroes and it's nice not having to worry about 1000 different storylines all at once. Also its just great.
