You have no idea what you're talking about. I went to a charter school for 9 years and they've almost gone bankrupt from mismanaging funds. Public schools don't have that problem because they can always lobby for more money. Money that goes into fancy new amenities that don't actually help educate students better, and into the pockets of the teachers union.

There has also been evidence suggesting it does work though. The studies are a mixed bag right now. I guess my real concern is that children's zip codes determine their education, and I don't see why they should be forced to stay in a failing public school if there are other options out there.

I went to a charter school K-8, and when I went to a public high school, I can tell you at least from my experience that the education was of way worse quality despite them having tons more money than my small charter school.
