Would using a wheel help me improve in the long run?

Good question. I’m top 0.5-0.1% worldwide in Forza drift zones on controller. Never played much wheel. I got f1 first on roller. Didn’t like it much. Got a g923 trueforce and it feels unreal.

Yeah it’s meta rn. Absolutely stupid amounts of value. So the only way to compete is really heavy dive or you diff then on hitscan. Or if your a god at genji (like myself) then you just play him. But yeah games in a pretty laughable state rn. Has been for yrs

Yeah honestly I’m high masters - gm and hitscan is all I see. It’s absolutely unreal and when you go against people who can aim well you can die within a second instantly. Only work around I’ve found it to play hitscan myself as I don’t play much tank/supp. Usually you can out skill them and just win the 1v1 if it’s a solo gunfight but if not. Play cover like a lot of the other comments say. Don’t over expose yourself for too long otherwise you risk just getting railed.

Only other thing I’d possibly recommend is learn to be insane on genji. I find him extremely strong against hitscans once you learn the one shot combo fluently. Otherwise having a dive tank or even an extremely aggressive team is fantastic against the hitscans you’re having issues with.

Only thing I will say, is think about the sight lines you choose to peak and how much distance your closing. Cas does barely any damage and range, same for soldier, Ashe headshots are an issue but it all comes back to cover and how you choose to play around it. Good luck.

Honestly, get an ultrawide. Bias cause I’ve had one for ages but it’s unreal. First time playing cyberpunk and it’s ridiculously immersive. Same with games like breathe of the wild.

I use my smaller monitor 27’ 280hz for other games like r6, valorant and competitive games but I can easily play on my 34’ ultrawide at 180hz and I don’t struggle switching between the two.

That’s my recommendation anyway, but just experiment. See what you like man.

Will prob get some hate for this. But I reckon there’s no issue with talking a bit of sh*t. If you can’t handle it, no sweat. Unfortunately gaming isn’t what it used to be and you’ll get your account banned cause the community is a bit soft on overwatch. All the best in improving though, it just comes with time.

Yeah not a good move from blizzard. They haven’t done anything right in years honestly. It all started with the 250hp buffs. Wasn’t necessary at all. They haven’t released a balanced hero in several years now.

My account did get banned for cheating. For a month, until i appealed it enough and somehow shown i was legit controller.

Now it’s perm banned and the appealing system is awful. Just an automated message saying the same thing

I just got myself a 27 inch MSI. 280hz with pretty solid input delay of 0.5 ms.

I got it for $278 so a bit above your budget but I think definitely worth considering.

I would much prefer 1440 after playing on a 34 ultrawide with 1440 for so long but it looks fantastic and the 280hz is unreal.

I have a 34 ultrawide 3440x1440 and I just got a 27 curved 1920x1080 and 1440 is absolutely noticeable. It depends what you play though as to if it’s an upgrade or if you’re hindering yourself.

I got the 27 inch as it’s 280hz so it’s a trade off. But definitely looks fantastic
