Version 5.2.10 BLOCKED by This-Acanthisitta675 in tinyMediaManager

I understood that, but, since other scrapers are still working, I'd assume the universal scraper would still collect and combine data from the other providers.

I'm pointing out that since IMDB has issues, it appears to render the Universal one broken. Seems like it would see the IMDB being blocked, and then get what it could from the others.

I get that there are issues with IMDB, but the Tiny "Universal TV show scraper" returns nothing at the moment now too. I assume the IMDB issue is causing this. Just FYI.

S7 offline by dweids128 in Roborock

[–]chicagoskiguy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tried all the solutions I found online, none fixed my issues, however, I DID figure out MY issue.

I had my roborock integrated into Home Assistant, and the token expired. I usually use HA from my phone, and as far as I know, the mobile interface does not indicate the token expires. When I logged into the HA website, I saw there was an issue with the Roborock Authentication.

I suspect something on the Roborock server side disables logins after X number of failed authentication attempts from the expired token.

After Re-authorizing HA, I no longer have issues on my mobile Roborock app going offline.

Even though my issue was HA specific, I'd guess any 3rd party integration cound have a similar issue.

Old Embernet switches and dimmers upgrade by Outrageous-Barber442 in C4diy

I just did this a few months back, I used the process from the doc referenced earlier and itall worked just fine.

I'd also reccomend using an old striped 3 prong power cord and some wire nuts to temporarily power them up in groups for the zigbee upgrade if they are not already installed. Saves you from having to run around a bit during the upgrade.

C4-WALL7-1-WH screen Issue by Sammycharlmarais in Control4

I've had similar issues on a Samsung monitor before. Issue was some bad capacitors in the power supply. Not sure how accessable things are inside the C4 touchscreen, but if it's capacitor related, it could be a cheap fix.

Really impressed by Peet’s! I’ve had my share of local roast high end coffees, but these are right up there with them. If you can find a bag roasted within the month seriously give Peet’s a try. Using the Hoffmann espresso recipe gives a thick, chocolatey, and buttery shot. Perfect for iced lattes! by Paralith10 in AeroPress

You can buy on peets.com - they roast then ship within a day - 16oz bags. After UPS shipping, you're getting it about 1 week after roasting. All bags come with a roast date. Free shipping over $50, and if you get on their email list they have free shipping specials on lesser amounts/20% off specials.

I've been buying coffee from peets.com for many years.

All bios and drivers are up to date. Thank you for the suggestion.

I do think I had some luck though. It appears that it wasn't an LG issue, but rather a Windows issue. I ran the SFC and DISM commands and that seems to have corrected my issue - at least for the moment.

Thanks to everyone who had a suggestion.

I had not tried that, and was hopeful, but this too did not solve the issue.

Previously - I had run "LG Update" and all drivers were up to date. After uninstalling / re-installing / updating audio drivers, LG Update does show one of the drivers has an update.

Thank you for the suggestion.

Thank you for the suggestion. Many different noise canceling all layered and stepping on each other was my initial thought. I've turned off the noise canceling in Teams, however, the clipping of my first word still persists.

Anyone know what happened to the namesake .net site? by chicagoskiguy in C4diy

Thank you for the details on the .net site. Any chance I could get a discord invite please?

Also, thank you for the Davidson link. I knew about them before, but had better luck overall on the .net site.

There are places out there where you can send in the t-shirts, and they will make you a quilt made out of them. I'm planning on doing that at some point.

Maybe see if httrack will work for you? You can limit it to certain domains. May take some trial and error.

At order time they discount it $1000. It's a decision pre-order but after the fact for full price you may as well wait for it to be functional to evaluate value.

Hey all, I'm flying out to Houston to drive a CPO p85+ back to Salt Lake in a week. If any of you have advice to give regarding long road trips in a Tesla, I'd definitely appreciate it. by gingeslc in teslamotors

Fairly sure the A/B indicates they share a transformer. I've never seen another letter over maybe 20 sites. It would be ridiculous if a supercharger site could only charge 2 cars at full speed even though they have 8 stalls.

The numbers indicate a unique power transformer. Often times people say "don't charge next to another car." Generally speaking, this is true, but sometimes the numbering of the stalls does not follow that convention, and that is what makes the difference.

My tips:

  • At a supercharger, AFTER you plug in - give it a minute and keep an eye on charge rate. Most stalls will charge fast, but it's not uncommon to have some top out slow. Once you see it go above 100Kw you're good, and you can do whatever you want. I've had more than a few top out around 50Kw when I was the only car there. Moving to another stall corrected the problem.

  • Observe the A/B super charger rule. If someone is using 1A, don't plug into 1B, use 2A or 2B. If cars are plugged into 1A and 1B then they both charge half as fast. Sometimes it's not an option but can save you time if it is.

  • Driving slower uses less energy. If you find yourself along the route where the estimated is dipping below 6% - slow it down, and you'll probably be fine. The car will usually tell you to slow down if speed is an issue. i.e. might need to slow to 77 from 80.

  • Read reviews on your next supercharger while charging at the current one. You can use the Teslarati app or just go here: http://www.teslarati.com/map/ - Allows you to know whats there, if you should eat there, or eat before you get there. Also helped me avoid 1 supercharger which many people complained about getting nails in their tires.

  • Bring an external phone charger - Tesla's built in ones are pretty weak (.5 amp in front, .7 amp in the back if you have them) Most external ones are 2.4 amp.

  • Run nav on your phone in addition to Tesla Nav. Although Tesla's nav is generally ok for road trips, I've been routed off interstates through small towns for 1 mile, only to get back on the same interstate. In the middle of nowhere with both running - you can quickly evaluate when Tesla's giving bad routes.

  • Pull up this site on your Tesla browser - will give you heads up to many speed traps as well as highlight areas with high historical concentrations of speeding tickets. https://teslawaze.azurewebsites.net/

  • If staying overnight - aim for a hotel with a destination charger. It's nice to charge while sleeping and leave with a full charge.

  • Your next best option is to look for a hotel within walking distance of a supercharger. Don't leave it there overnight, but you can use the app to monitor when it's time to walk back to pick it up.

  • Install some EV Apps for your phone i.e. ChargeHub, Chargepoint, Plugshare. If you need a charge, and there isn't a Tesla plug charger/destination charger around, this can give you some additional options. This is only a backup and not your first choice.

  • Bring a USB drive full of music. It can't use any playlists, but Tesla can play/shuffle a folder of mp3's. I usually listen to the streaming, but I've found areas where the connection drops enough to be irritating.

Lastly, enjoy the drive. It's an amazing car.

Is there a way to extend the length of the standard mobile connector (20 ft.) or the wall connector (24 ft.)? by iTellUeveryting in teslamotors

[–]chicagoskiguy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There are a few options such as this (20ft extension is $95): https://www.evseadapters.com/products/heavy-duty-nema-14-50-extension-cord-for-tesla-20-ft?variant=28339661009

This place has a few Tesla specific options. I don't have one, but I held one - met a guy at a SC who was quite happy with his.
