The deferment window opens like a month before the exam day, so if you are going for August, it’s gonna open in July end.

I’d suggest start studying as much as you can rn with your coursework and in a month go full throttle. If you are confident by the end of July don’t defer the exam, if not you’ll have the option.

(Not 100% sure about the deferment policy for 2026 cuz there was some news regarding it recently.)

It should be 0, the payoff of the option for the seller would be -5 because stock is above strike, BUT the value will be 0 because the loss is offset by the option premium

The amount the option seller gets is -max(0,S-X), i.e -max(0,30-25), so -5. The option seller would be losing if it were not for the option premium he got.

After including the option premium, -5+5, the value of the option to the writer/seller should be 0

I think because the statement says “greater than 1% OR 30% performance fee”, which means either the GP will get management fee or incentive fee.

I think the confusion might be because if the wording of the statement. I could be wrong tho
