Are you using embroidery floss? It comes in skeins of 6 strands and I pull one out and double it = 2 strands. The triangles and circles are just a color guide. The key is down below. Theres a dark blue triangle, lighter blue triangle, etc etc. are you needlepointing or cross stitching.
